PhantomDreamer
New Era's caps run small. I have a low crown 59FIFTY New Era cap size 7 1/4 and I had to remove most of the sweatband for a decent fit. I have 2 American Needle caps the same size and they fit fine without any alteration. El Scorcho
Every 59fifty I have is a 7 1/2 and they are all slightly different sizes and fits. The best way to get any hat to fit you better is to wear it around and sweat in it a bit. Wear the hat next time you go for a run or something and keep it on for a while afterward while you're swearing.I bought an Angels 59fifty online and it was way too big when I first put it on, but now it fits me really well. The same goes if it's too small. Also obviously the 59fiftys fit a human head better if you bend the brim.
