I love the socks in the primary kit...really ties it together. And I agree, the numbers are pretty uninspired but I think they fit.

I agree. While I'm not the biggest fan of the numbers themselves, I think they fit perfectly with the German identity:

I would have rather seen them use the thinner and less condensed version.

These aren't bad. Not where near as nice as the 2010 WC Uni's though, which is in my opinion, football uniform perfection:

Both kits are absolutely marvelous because they go against the typical Adidas design ethos and instead go for a simple look. It works so well. I just couldn't see Germany wearing something like what MLS teams wear.

Speaking of which, up until a couple of weeks ago, I didn't know that Adidas and Puma were German companies founded by brothers.
