The RCMP has made the first save for the Winnipeg Jets.

The Mounties and Canada border services agents announced Wednesday the seizure of a shipment of 40 counterfeit Winnipeg Jets jerseys, complete with the new logo and shoulder flashes, estimated to be worth $12,000.

Jets spokesman Scott Brown said the team was "extremely pleased" with the seizure. "We've known for a while that the RCMP was being proactive ... with counterfeit and fake goods," he said.

I think $12,000 is a bit of an overstatement on their part. No way that counterfeit jerseys were selling for $300 each.

Story B: Red Wings go undefeated and score 100 goals in every game. They also beat a team comprised of Godzilla, the ghost of Abraham Lincoln, 2 Power Rangers and Betty White. Oh, and they played in the middle of Iraq on a military base. In the sand. With no ice. Santa gave them special sand-skates that allowed them to play in shorts and t-shirts in 115 degree weather. Jesus, Zeus and Buddha watched from the sidelines and ate cotton candy.

For a team that hasn't even released their jersey to the general public? Phhhffft....I can see some fools paying well over $300.

IF ONE IS CONSIDERED RACIST, THEN BOTH MUST BE CONSIDERED RACIST.

BOTTOM LINE: NEITHER ONE IS RACIST.
