LSU Pro Combats Sighted in Las Vegas Nike Store

These are pics taken from the Nike Store in Las Vegas with some LSU pro combat unis on display. I'm not saying they're real...but they look pretty legit.

Items of note include the use of "old gold" as they used in 2009 as well as sublimated tiger stripes on the white helmet.

Get rid of the hideous "pit stains" and the large purple area to accentuate the "fly wire" and I LOVE them.

Love 'em, love 'em, love 'em. Along with thier last go-around (which still ranks as one of my all-time favorite Pro Combats) LSU is proving they know how to make a sharp Pro Combat uniform. And I actually love the all-white...I'm personally a sucker for "stormtrooper" uniforms. Don't know why, but I find them very appealing. Last but not least, purple and old gold go SO well together. They really look great here, as they did on the Tigers' previous PC uniform.

The opinions I express are mine, and mine only. If I am to express them, it is not to say you or anyone else is wrong, and certainly not to say that I am right.

It's up to LSU, ultimately. If they want to use the classic tiger on the helmets they will, and Nike has to, at the end of the day, go along with it.

I agree, the updated tiger would be a huge improvement, but the blame falls on LSU not Nike.

I might be part of the minority here, but I generally LOVE most of these Pro Combat designs. I think they push the envelope of uniform design in good and bad ways, but enough so to continue the evolution of uniform design. Love them or hate them, they are still pretty interesting and eye catching. My only gripe about these nearly perfect LSU jerseys is the dumb collar that they've designed for what seems to be all of this years incarnations of Pro Combat unis. Change the collar and you have a winner!

I absolutley love the sublimated tiger stripes. I just wish they were a little more noticable.

Yeah I agree. Where exactly are these tiger stripes? I don't see them at all.

EDIT: N/M, a simple tilt of the laptop screen did the trick.

One thing I don't get, however, is why Nike refuses to use the updated tiger head on the helmets.

They used the ugly, too-detailed classic version on their last ProCombat helmets as well:

What gives?

NEVER!!!!

We LSU fans HATE that new logo. The administration knows it too. There would be riots in Cajun Country if they put the "Toonces" logo on the helmets.

Agreed... that new tiger is just somehow silly looking.
