They make the teams hat for fan of the team or people who may just like that particular hat, in the appropriate colors. If you just want a hat with a logo of the city in different colors, then come up some generic city logo that's not the team's logo. I have a tough time buying team apparel that isn't on-field/official supplier. But, I broke my mold and bought a maize & blue 59Fifty Boston hat this summer (in fairness, I did beat it up & curve the bill). Not quite sure why I did that, I don't wear it often. I don't curve the brim (it eventually naturally gains a slight curve when I wear it. I leave on the hologram sticker. Back in middle school/freshman year of high school I used to leave the top size sticker on because I went through my hip-hop dress phase. (I wore a lot of white t-shirts, I bought some really chinsy chains, and some really stupid fashion hats that I wore at an angle.) But that's over. And overall, the hat feels better for me the way I wear them. To whoever is saying we should relax about it; its a message board dedicated to discussing such things - its not like I wanna go punch someone in the face if they have a yellow yankees hat on. Earlier this summer, I had the good fortune to happen upon a passed-out-drunk kid at a party with the stickers still on his flat-brimmed baseball cap; I kindly removed them for him.
