DeadFish Posted September 15, 2011 Share Posted September 15, 2011 I used to play for a team called the Malvern Braves, a nickname that struck me as awful for a team in Australia (Aussie team named after Native Americams?) so came up with a new nick.Their home ground is in a suburb named Kooyong which I found out means something along the lines of "haunt of the wild fowl" so thought some kind of native bird might work. I came up with the Blue Winged Shoveler so renamed the team the Malvern BlueWings.Below is what I've done so far - any critiques/suggestions welcomeTa Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
