dfwabel
Did anyone have Iona in? Andy Bottoms from Foxsports.com was the only one of the major sites who had Iona in. The Big Lead had a spreadsheet of the bubble teams by analyst before the pairings were made.
McCall
I think UK's gonna take the South. Mizzou in the West. Honestly, the East is a tough pick full of great match-ups that doesn't necessarily favor the higher seed. Honestly, my initial instincts, I could very well see Florida State with a chance to head to the Final Four. (I know.) Midwest can be tricky. I honestly could see St. Mary's or even NC State causing a lot of trouble. https://dribbble.com/MakaioCall
DaytonBlue
Why can't the play-in games all be the same seeds between each bracket? The randomness makes absolutely no sense.Someone mentioned on the selection show that the four lowest at-larges and the four lowest auto-bid teams went to the play-in games. I guess that explains the different seedings. McCall
Thought I was crazy for possibly picking Florida State as a Final Four team, but evidently I wasn't the only one. I think two or three of Bilas, Digger, Hubert and Vitale did too. Of, course they're mostly kind of idiots so that doesn't really validate much. https://dribbble.com/MakaioCall

Kramerica Industries
I want to be a homer so bad and say Florida will beat Mizzou, but dammit I'm not even sure Florida is going to beat Virginia. Classic case of a team having the talent to be very good, but not having the leadership and having a poor style to make it happen. I will never trust a team that relies on the three pointer to go deep into a tournament like this. Florida has FF talent - they do not have a FF-calibre team. pmoehrin
The crew pairings and sites for next week.CBS pretty much always puts out a pretty good announcing crew every year. Then again CBS Sports has always invested alot in their announcers. Usually if they come across a bad announcer they are gone pretty fast. They don't stick around unquestioned for years. OnWis97
Upset Alert: Harvard vs Vandy and Montana vs Wisconsin. Why Montana? It'll be ugly, but Wisky should easily handle them.Wisconsin relies way too much on the three and rarely plays a game in which it has a scoring drought of 7 or 8 minutes. They'll probably win that game, but it'll be ugly and they are a complete non-threat in tourney. They're the 4-seed you want to play. They're the 4-seed you want to play.I hate teams like Wisconsin getting in the tourney.I think they have just as much of a chance to go to the Final Four as they do to get bounced before the sweet sixteen.People forget this team was getting talked about as a legit National Title contendor up until the start of conference play. They are also a very junior and senior heavy team which will help them. What will hurt them the most I think is that I question the amount of pure talent that's on that team. I don't see any future NBA players on that roster. That means either players are being undervalued, or Bo Ryan has gotten the absolute most of this squad. What will go both ways for them is that with their style they will be in every game. But that also means the other team will probably be in every game to. That's why I mean by they have as much chance to get to the Final Four as they do to get bounced early. They can beat just about anybody as they've proved by keeping step for step with the likes of North Carolina, Michigan State and Ohio State and anybody can beat them as proven by the fact that they had a tough time against teams like Nebraska, Illinois and Minnesota, none of whom are going dancing. CS85
For my bracket, I'm doing something quite random: I'm basing the bracket off of the winners of the 2003 tournament; the only tournament where I called the winning team correctly. Thus the 2012 NCAA champion will be the Florida St. Seminoles. And then there's everyone else. The five are the four number ones and Missouri. I actually think there's a huge dropoff between Missouri and the other number two seeds.I don't know what the rest of my bracket is going to look like but I know I'm sending at least three number ones to the Final Four and I'll sleep on what to do with a potential Michigan State/Missouri matchup.
