Is anybody shocked that the D-backs didn't give up more that 1 run when the Brewers loaded the bases in the 4th?

As much of a pessimist you are, that could've been bad for Zona.

Also thought the D-Backs dodged a huge bullet there. However, momentum is definitely on Milwaukee's side now. We'll see where it takes them in the final 4 innings.

Betancourt saves Axford's @$$ for the moment, but may have hurt his ankle in the process.

Update: His ankle is OK, but he can't get it done at the plate, nor can the other Milwaukee batters. We're going to a 10th.

Side note: Hernandez is still on the mound for Arizona, but for some reason Brewers announcer Bob Uecker thinks it's J.J. Putz.

Baseball...so good...

This kind of series is what makes baseball exciting - two young teams fighting it out in extra innings in a winner-take-all game. It seems like either team can win, even with Milwaukee's dominance at home.

Grienke is now warming up. This could throw quite a wrench into the Brewers' starting rotation if they advance.

You can't worry about that. All hands on deck. Who cares about the NLCS rotation if you lose today?

Got to go with whomever the best option is right now. Doesn't matter if it's a reliever or starter.
