2011 MLB Postseason

And for the 2011 NLCS the rematch of the 1982 World Series!

Last time the Brewers won a playoff series? 1982 ALCS. They then lost in the next round... the World Series... to the Cardinals.

Best possible outcome just happened. The ENTIRE east coast is out before the LCS. If the Giants can't be there, this is second best.

Wait... No Red Sox? No Yankees? No Phillies?

These playoffs are AWESOME!

So what's ESPN going to do now that Philly, Boston, and New York are all out? Let's start some of that Midwest love! :P

And with that out the last of the over-hyped, big-spending, ESPN darlings are out! I'm going to really enjoy the rest of these playoffs no matter who wins.

Naturally they'll comment on how all the best players from the remaining teams would look good in Phillies, Red Sahwks and Yankees uniforms.

Joe Buck and Tim McCarver might as well not even show up to Arlington. Which is probably the best for everyone.

Anyways love the LCS matchups (Only screwed up on the PHI/STL series) but I mean I'm kinda neutral when it comes to the long grind of 162 games, but when October rolls around, Baseball is just the best!

To be honest I (along with most of the east coast) couldn't really care about either LCS. Not that I was rooting for the Phillies or anything but there's just no interest there for me. Sorry to rain on anyone's parade there but that's just the truth.

24/7 coverage of Cowboys Drama, the Eagles Dream Team and slobbering over the Patriots.

I hear Tony Romo had a ham and cheese sandwich for lunch today! More on SportsCenter.

LOL... ESPN really sucks at picking teams. Guess it's on to the usual winter lineup of Patriots / Jets / Yankees, Sox, and Phillies offseason / Kobe / LeBron hype.

Oh, and...

Congrats to the Cardinals! What a game.

And it looks like Ryan Howard possibly buckled something running out of the batter's box. That didn't really look fake. Hopefully the injury isn't too serious.

not to be morbid but it would have been kinda funny if the ball went through for a basehit but Howard was still thrown out at first. I stole that from another board

The NL Central had been the joke of MLB and now has both of the NLCS participants.

And I'm buying into the Rally Squirrel.

Double Fixed.

EDIT: Totally immature on my behalf, sorry.

Won't it be terrific if the Brewers and Rangers meet in the World Series two franchises that never won before.

Yet this (for the next few days, at least) still belongs to an NL West team.

Come on now, this is pro baseball. No entire division is a joke. Individual teams? Yeah, sometimes. The WHOLE division? No.

When was the last time both East divisions didn't have a team in the LCS? 2005, right?
