Ideal location of football's playclock

I don't think it was ever an issue but I know Beaver Stadium (Penn State) has a tiny little clock that dangles from the 2nd deck. It's very easy to miss if you don't know exactly where it is.

My biggest issue is how most stadiums only have a play clock on the field level and not a game clock. I can only think of Lincoln Financial Field as one that has both.

Denver, too, IIRC.

I know New England doesn't - both the game clock and play clock are at opposite sides of the scoreboard. But they're still in the QB's field of vision, so whatever.
