I believe my Vols are the only team to play against teams wearing the HyperElite disasters twice. Kentucky blew us out in them earlier this month. They didn't help the Gators today.

No, both Duke and UNC wore/will wear theirs against Maryland. Also, UConn will wear theirs twice against Notre Dame, but it's one game each for UConn's men's and women's teams.

Are those legal? I thought the NCAA didn't allow basketball jerseys with off-center numbers on the front. To whit:

Rule 3, Art. 5-b-3: The numbers on the front and back of the game jersey shall be centered horizontally in the neutral zone and be of the same color and style.

Only thing I can think is that they're being allowed it on the grounds that it's a throwback

I think those rules might only apply for the NCAA tournament.

For all the bird de lis haters I think the bird de lis isnt supposed to be a pelican and a fleur de lis I think its just a fleur de lis with a pelicans head. Thats what it looks like to me. Also the flair around the tip of the beak is just flair that fleur de lis have sometimes source I am from NOLA.

Okay, so apparently the Dallas Mavericks trash-bag alternate look wasn't specific to Duke...I caught a highlight of them over the weekend and wondered why they were in gray uniforms. Now i know...apparently Nike has decided to anthracize its college hoops teams, as well.

Only ones that have won a NC while wearing Nike, so: Duke, UConn, Florida, Cuse, UNC, Arizona. UConn and Baylor for the women.

I knew I would forget one if I didn't bother looking for the actual list.

Maryland's title team in 2002 wore Nike as well for the men and the women's team in 2006.

Maryland isn't a Nike school now, though.

But they, you know, have Under Armour jerseys so they don't have to be hit with these atrocities

I'm personally looking forward to next Wednesday where I'm gonna wear my grey Mets Therma Base sweatshirt in protest :P

Kansas in their 1952 National Champion throwbacks.

I thought the throwbacks looked great. Our look should be something like that full time.

Anything is better than the Trajan they use now. They should go back to that or this font:

IMO, that font style is Kansas and just feels so right with our identity.

I would agree they need a new style similar to these.. The piping on the current set is random and unnecessary. I think a very simple layout with either our current number/letter font or the above fonts would be perfect.

Is #15 wearing vertically striped socks?!

No those are the new nike Elite socks, that picture is just at a weird angle and makes the socks look that way

These are so terrible looking, I'm not even sure what to say about them: http://www.zappos.com/product/7882572/color/322780

Yeah I'm a big fan of the current socks, these are weird
