All were wearing jerseys, but Johnny was sporting an original jersey of his from the '56 season. When I first saw it, I knew it was not like the other jerseys being worn. The announcers did, in fact, say it was a cotton tearaway from that season. Majors said each player had 6 jerseys for each game in the case of being torn away. They were so thin you could see through them to the shoulder pads underneath.Vol Coach Dooley wore orange pants in honor of Majors.
