The deadline expires in 3 and a half hours! And I'm still missing 5 concepts! I still need concepts from:

So here's what I'm going to do. If you five do not turn in your concepts within the next 3 and a half hours, I'm inflicting a 2 vote penalty for the baseball concept (except it will only be a 1 vote penalty for kcchiefsfan, because he was a late fill in). However, if you get less than two votes (one for kcchiefsfan), I won't inflict the penalty.

And I'm setting an absolute final deadline for Thursday December 8, 2011 at 11:59 PM EST. If your concepts are not sent in by this date, you will be expelled from the contest and your spot will be put up for auction. So send them in!

Alright, here's the deal. This contest will be underway no later than this upcoming Sunday, but most likely this Friday. I have nine concepts, but I am willing to begin the contest with just those nine. StuckeyDuck and illwauk do have until Thursday to submit their concepts, but I'm starting with or without them. Any newcomers may still sign up, but they have to be SURE they can complete a baseball concept by Thursday, or they will be expelled as well.

Once the contest is started, here's the deal:

• Polls will be open for 120 hours (5 days).
  
• Votes will be counted and put into a standings graphic (designed by capitalcanuck).
  
• Deadline will be set for basketball concepts. Only returning participants will be allowed to participate in the next sport. They will be expected to have a concept sent in in time. No new participants will be accepted UNLESS someone from the previous sport drops out or fails to meet the deadline. Then someone will be able to step in and take over for that upcoming sport and all sports thereafter.
  

So this thing will begin shortly! And, please, illwauk and StuckeyDuck, please send in your concepts or at least let me know you can't do this so we can start this thing.

Any chance I could still get in on this with the big-4 Boston teams? I'm not very experienced with hockey or football concepts, however I'd love to be involved if you're still looking to fill spots.

EDIT: Actually, could I do LA if I included the Angels? Angels, Clippers, Kings, LA Chargers (former NFL)

If that's OK that would be my preferance however I'd take the four Boston teams above if the Angels don't count as Los Angeles.

Sounds great! One last change, (sorry, I just can't seem to make up my mind) can I switch the Kings for the Ducks?

I'm still waiting for a concept from rsaline. With the addition of Fox's concept, I now have 10, and will start with that if needed. So rsaline, as well as StuckeyDuck, ChuckDownfield, and illwauk, have about 9 hours to send in that concept.

StuckeyDuck has sent in his concept successfully, and I'm still waiting on rsaline to switch his image host to something other than Twitter, as his tweets are protected. ChuckDownfield and illwauk, however, failed to submit their concepts and have been expelled.

I plan on posting the first round and opening the polls tonight, as long as rsaline puts his concept on ImageShack or whatever.

From the designer: Please note that these uniforms were designed before the Orioles unveiled their 2012 uniform and logo changes. Also note that the back panel to the white cap would be black à la their 2012 home cap.

From the designer: The Mud Hens are the Tigers' MiLB affiliate, and as such, I felt they would benefit from a less childish color scheme (primary colors). After thinking about it a little bit, I decided to carry over the Tigers' color scheme, and add Warm Gray as a color for the Mud Hens, as it is a much more fitting color for the animal the team is named after. Orange adds sharpness to the uniforms, and makes for a lively alternate. A feather still makes the cross on the letter 'E' on the wordmark on the front of the jerseys.

I voted for myself (because I'm an egotistical son of a ) but I'd have to say Chapeeko's concept was my favorite. If the Cubs changed to that, I'd be happy. Some other good ones were the Rockies, Angels, and Rays to name a few.
