mightynine
Braves beat writer just tweeted me "think similar to creme throwback they wore at L.A. in '11"Well, that would explain the alternate logo (black tomahawk) and a current hat being used, but we were told the new set would be worn with existing pants. I don't think they would try to wear a cream jersey with white pants.According to photos of that game, that throwback wasn't cream, but grey, which could mean an updated version used with the current away pants and red-brimmed hat. Unless there was another game against the Dodgers where they wore throwbacks.Pics from: http://throwback-uniforms.blogspot.com/2011/04/atlanta-braves-at-los-angeles-dodgers.html
TheOldRoman
I thought the jerseys were gray, but I went off the tweet about them being creme. That would make sense, but it's not necessary. The Atlanta script is great, and although it's on the blue jerseys too, those blow. This just means less games we get to see the great road jerseys. If they wanted to do this, they should have just changed the tomahawk to black or navy on the road jerseys.
Magnum
They look good in those Boston throwbacks. Just don't bring back the 70's ones ... those can forever stay in that decade.
bigwalk
Don't think it's gonna be a throwback as someone in the know mentioned in the megathread that it went with a current cap and pants.I thought the post in the megathread said it went with a current cap, but with NEW pants. Shumway
Braves have some interesting thing up their sleeve... or something like that.Hmmm...Somebody did a concept several years ago on here with the feather pattern on (more or less) their current jerseys. It looked awesome. I don't remember who did it (upon searching, it might've been Anomalied), but it was far and away one of my favorite concepts on here. nuordr
I would love to see the baby blues brought back as their away set. That would be sweet.
HedleyLamarr
I have no problem with the red alternate jersey, It's how often they wear thier Alt uniforms that bothers me.The Braves have one of the best home/road uniform sets in baseball IMO, and its a shame that the organization seems to favor the Alts. How so? The red alts are only worn for Sunday home games, and the navy away alts are typically only used once a week from my observation.I'd love for the Braves to ditch the red jerseys, but most fans like them, so they're likely sticking around. At least those are relegated to Sundays. But those navy alts are worn way too much for my liking. They make an appearance at least once in every series, and for some odd reason, they wear the navy alts almost every game in Washington. If it's a gray (or white) alternate, I'm all for that. I might be able to tolerate a light-blue throwback-like jersey. If it's another colored jersey, it can immediately pound sand.
Silver Shamrock
I would love for the Braves to somehow incorporate either the 70's feather logo, or Chief Noc-A-Homa....... that would be sweet. I have heard that they sell a lot of merch featuring him around Atlanta.....

Tomahawk10
for some odd reason, they wear the navy alts almost every game in Washington.Might want to make it look patriotic on the field, having a big blue presence to go along with the Nats' white and red. Most of those are really cool in all actuality but I like the Braves one. Looks awesome, not like what I'da expected a Met fan to do to our unis. The Dogg
No matter what these changes are, I hope the Braves bring back the vertical arch names on the back. Their jerseys just aren't the same without them, in part because the font they use now looks squat and wimpy.This...and the red brims on the away sets. Also, slap some red piping and red numbers on the navy alternates or get rid of them.
