A case could be made for David Lee as well, among Western Conference PFs, he's 4th in scoring, rebounding, and double-doubles. If he was put at center, which he can play and often does for the Warriors, he would be 1st in scoring, 3rd in rebounding, and 3rd in double-doubles

They would be the second seed in the West if the season ended today. I think they are going to be very motivated against the Lakers tonight. I don't think a team like that would like anything more then to beat two teams in back to back nights with four combined all-star starters on their roster.

Also Greg Oden had another knee surgery earlier today. No timetable on his return.

My guess would be not much. He's 34 years old now and is coming off the worst season of his NBA career.

He's also nowhere near the defensive stopper or rebounder he was earlier in his career.

The Clippers though have no bench at all at the power forward or center position. They need Jordan and Griffin to play 35+ minutes a night in order to have a chance most games. There's no big man on that team outside of Griffin or Jordan that's averaging more then 5 points a game, so he will help them out in that regard. I just wouldn't expect any miracles out of him. He's a bench player without question at this stage in his career. If all goes according to plan he'll be able to take some of pressure off of Griffin and Jordan and be able to give them a little more rest. Right now they don't have anybody that can do that. The combo of Randy Foye, Brian Cook, Soloman Jones and Trey Thompkins is just not working. Nobody in that group is shooting over 40% from the floor.

Now, if we could somehow land JR Smith or, even more unlikely, Wilson Chandler, we'd have a workable bench. I know Smith has somewhat of a reputation for being a chucker, but I will take his chucking in a landslide over Randy Foye's.

Martin's role with the Clippers, if nothing else, will be for his toughness and whatever statisical contribution he can provide, much like with Reggie Evans and his rebounding.

Foye is okay, just inconsistent this season, and with Mo Williams providing nearly all of the scoring off the bench, Foye is sort of rendered useless at this point. I don't think Thompkins is all that bad, since he's a rookie (a second-rounder at that) and he really doesn't get that much playing time. He can shoot the 3, but I hope that he doesn't turn into another Brian Cook--incredibly useless if he can't knock down outside shots. Other than that, I can't disagree with what you said.

Exactly. We have absolutely no offense flow. We should have kept the triangle, or brought in an assistant coach who knows offense at the very least. Like in the NFL when the head coach runs the defense, he'll bring in a coordinator to run the offense. We should have done something like this.
