Whittier S
Is that an original logo for the Suns? I dig it. The initial logo for Fort Lauderdale, I don't dig. It has a very industrial kind of look for it, I mean, it reminds me of International Harvester or some such. It doesn't look like sports to me. oaklandhusker
I'm definitely liking this. IT would be awesome to see you take on another team and re-do their look from top to bottom.
DolphinManatee
-@WhittierSNo, the Suns cap logo is the current one that they use (really solid cap logo, IMO). For Fort Lauderdale, I am lost on picking a font that fits the style of the city.-@oaklandhuskerI re-did the Rays (or did I? ).
Mr. Aware Eagle
Awesome work. I have two favorites. The first being the Loggerheads. A cool name, a good color scheme. The Palms are my other favorite. I'd buy one of those hats if I had the chance. Yes, I root for teams all over the place. And I apparently favor birds.
BigBubba
The Marlins look better, and I'm a big fan of the Palms' and Suns' sets. I don't love FL, mostly because it's a very long name and doesn't translate well into a script. Nobody cares about your humungous-big signature. Whittier S
From what I can tell, yachting and night clubs both figure prominently in Fort Lauderdale, perhaps those will inspire a font choice.
DolphinManatee
Here's another update:Miami Marlins:Jacksonville Suns:Fort Lauderdale Loggerheads:Fort Myers Palms:Okay, I only updated Fort Lauderdale. But for your convenience, I put all of the up-to-date concepts here so you don't have to click back a page or two. Also, I'm planning on redoing the marlin in the Marlins logo (again) to be simple like the current real life (sic) marlin but with life and character. Here are your free cookies:
BigBubba
Now I'm hungry Seriously though, FtL looks better. Though I would suggest to include placket piping on the road and road alt. Nobody cares about your humungous-big signature. PotD: 29/1/

DolphinManatee
I'm having trouble choosing a shade of teal. (In my mind, the only shades I'm considering is #2 and #3. The rest are just references.)In case you are wondering where the colors came from, here it is:-1. Miami Marlins current shade of Blue-2. Made Up-3. Made Up-4. Marlins old shade of Teal/what I'm currently using for my concept-5. Old Miami Dolphins shade of Aqua-6. Current Dolphins shade of Aqua-7. Northwestern Green (Seattle Mariners)-8. Arizona Turquoise (Arizona Diamondbacks)

missouri tigers
I like 6 as well and I agree with DeFrank that you should use a more toned down shade of orange.
devilboy1995
3 or 6. 3 is lighter, making it reflect the orange more, but 6 adds character to the uniforms.

DolphinManatee
With Red-Orange:With a more toned down Orange:How all color options look on the script logos:My Opinion:I want the Marlins to look different but similar to the Dolphins, and a way that I've been doing that by making the shade of orange/red-orange to be darker than the teal (and vice-versa). I do not want them to look exactly like the Dolphins, mainly because their current shade of aqua is too green.
oaklandhusker
Almost all of them look good, but I definitely like 14.
