Discrim
If ANYONE makes a patch commemorating the 10th anniversary of the strike, I will go berserk. go crazy, there wasn't much else good i can think of. the Brewers and Cubs both sucked, MJ retirement #1, the Bears began becoming irrelevant, and the Pack were still the Boys' bitches. I coulda done Mess & the Rangers' Cup, but I figured this was something nobody else was gonna do...and you know i'm right when you see the blatant message I put on. If you want to have some fun, post that on Fanhome's Canuck's board--see how quickly it gets locked...But I never told you that... NJTank
You know honestly I dont think you can say teh Nucks chocked in 1994 they rallied from 3-1 down to beat the Flames in teh first round then almost rallied to from 3-1 in the Finals. That last 10 minutes of Game 7 in teh FInals teh Rangers were barely hanging on for dear life. www.sportsecyclopedia.com For the best in sports history go to the Sports E-Cyclopedia at http://www.sportsecyclopedia.com
habsfannova
Yeah, Tank, I remember the game. I was squeeking and yelping the whole time So, yeah, you're right. I thought they could have done it though. So, in essence, it's not "Red Sox/Vikings" level, but I just wanted to have some fun.
Frenchie
Some top notch stuff here, as has been the case with every other event so far. I'm just trying to keep up! That being said, I present to you the 25th Anniversary of Gretzky's first NHL match patch. (few!):C&C welcome. Please believe me when I say this will be a coincidence, that I picked an Oilers event as well, different one 'though...To be continued... @Frenchie_TO Owner of the Rochester Americans of the MLH Owner of the Toronto Frenchies of the GCFHL6

JamesCraven
Shouldn't '84 and '85 be reversed? Gordie
clannhoran & Joel, thanks guys! yhollander, Gibson's the best big-game pitcher ever. If you like him, or the Cards, or just baseball generally, you should read "October '64" by David Halberstam. It's a great account of the World Series that year.SyPhi, yeah the beak was originally yellow. I don't know how I turned it red. Thanks for picking that up.
