rtrich11
The boot and star look like they have some kind of texture. Can't tell the color, either. Not navy, though. The boot certainly would have been a good idea to communicate Cowboy. Works in any state.I can't think of any team that sported a boot on their helmet. A picture of footwear on your head would look weird.Since they don't actually play in boots, I think it's fine. cafepress.com/artbyrichards
BlueSky
The boot is interesting but it shouldn't surprise anyone that they considered alternatives to the star. Doesn't that make sense? What puzzles me is the caption, which is entirely about Landry's contract and mentions nothing whatsoever about the action taking place. The boot doesn't really work for me. Looks kind of feminine. ARTnSocal
Different blues.True. The 1960-63 unis were royal blue, not navy blue like the faux throwbacks.>>>>>Now that I didn''t know .... I like the navy better, but the more medium blue isn't too shabby either.Any images or color-photos of the away jersey?

Just as their current silver-green pants can look blue under favorable lighting conditions.
