Just a terrible and STALE look from top-to-bottom.And what makes it worse? This boring-ass team only wears 2 combos all year long. This was a one-off throwback, and a pretty accurate one at that. The Patriots, Steelers, Cardinals, 49ers, Rams, Cowboys, Browns, and Bengals wear uglier uniforms than that as their regular sets. The blue could be a little darker to make the numbers more legible, but this color combo seems to be a big hit with the majority of people when used elsewhere (UCLA, Denver Nuggets, etc.) The helmet certainly looks weird, but I wouldn't call it "bad", especially since it's a throback design. It's not a "great" uniform by any stretch, but I think that if a new team were to come out with a modernized version of these, my guess is that they'd be praised. Can never prove that of course. The 50's Rams had this going too. I'd like to see someone bring that look back.Also, IIRC, the Lions wore white jerseys... and it was fine. Or something from the XFL. But since those throwback Eagles unis had a yoke, but unfavorable color tones (nothing wrong with blue and yellow/gold, but that's just too bright) I used it as example. My point was, the Titans unis could be worse, man. They're not HORRIBLE. We've seen better concepts on this site, but out of all the 32 teams in the league, the Titans would be the least "desperate" for a change. I respect that.Yeah, I realize the fans wanted them to change out the Oilers name from the start. I just think the Titans package as a whole is uninspired (the name is retreaded from New York) and the uniform and logo are below par. The Oilers logo and uniforms were one of the best ever. The Oilers logo and uniforms were one of the best ever.I don't think I can agree with that - they had some good colors, but the logo was always uninspired. There's a reason Oiler throwback gear hasn't taken the world by storm. It's really just been forgotten while the Hartford Whalers and Seattle Pilots continue to sell tons of caps and tshirts.
