Well, judging from how Illinois has been playing thus far, the blue helmets need to be destroyed in a ceremonial midfield bonfire after the game in order to apologize to whatever deity was offended by them.

If they did that after every poor showing this year they wouldn't have anything left to wear.

I was thinking more that since these helmets are "special", the team shouldn't get them because when you let Penn State's offense drop 21 on you in 30 minutes of play, you don't deserve to have special things.

Tulsa might have some of the better color combos blue/gold, red/white, red/gold, etc...but when thrown together and you get blue, white, red, gold, gray, etc. It looks like a mix/match from the thrift store.

Much like my feelings on Vanderbilt, Purdue, and the Saints, I like the gold for BC and wish they'd wear that full-time at home instead of maroon.
