Kansas is wearing black jerseys/pants with a white helmet. The helmet looks ok with the jayhawk on it, but everything else. No.

And there's no red on the jersey or pants

Does anyone have a GIF of that bit from Family Guy where Brian is slapping Peter with the rolled-up newspaper?

Mighty Ducks of Anaheim (CHL - 2018 Orr Cup Champions) Chicago Rivermen (UBA/WBL - 2014, 2015, 2017 Intercontinental Cup Champions)

I like modern uniforms and all, but this is too bold for my taste.

It's like a hockey uniform.

Oh Russell....

They do keep trying don't they.

And Kansas is wearing one of the worst jerseys I've seen in a while. For some reason it has a classic block font "KANSAS" on the chest and some modern italic font for the numbers. Neither the KANSAS not the numerals are from the font they have used for a few years now. Looks like something a HS team who wants to do a black-out would wear.

Kansas photos...

I dont get these? There's no design here...

"Classic" does not mean it gets a free pass for being bad design.

It looks like a practice jersey. Is this really the best they could do?

Even though they just borrowed adidas idea, I like them. Don't know why. Maybe because the FDL looks better than a plain letter. But if these were an every day uni I'd burn them. I think the helmets help too.

Also, after watching on ESPN3 I noticed they have something on the nameplate but I can't make it out. Since they reupped with Arena Football I'd expect one team to go with this look. If the whole league doesn't fold.

Did ULL not wash there unis this week because it looks like they walked into the team gift shop and bought everyone a black t shirt with a logo on it. Bad rip off of adidas's idea.

Kansas' black uniforms look horrible

Virginia Tech's turd helmets look horrible

UL Lafayette's logo uniforms look horrible

Boise State's black/blue/black combo looks horrible

These one-off football uniforms almost always look horrible

Woah! You think I'm Cody? My name is Carl Scott Simone and we just happen to share a birthday. BIG DEAL.

I won't be surprised if either Boise State or Kansas makes their black alternates part of the regular rotation. Just like Washington, Arizona State, and countless other teams, they take already awesome color schemes and muddle them up (Royal Blue/Orange/Gray, Royal Blue/Red). I'm OK with blackouts as long as they remain one-off uniforms, but the inevitable case for many teams is that black eventually finds its way into the regular rotation.

I guess you could say that black is the crack of uniform aesthetics. :P

In other news, Utah State went Blue Helmet/Gray Uniforms/Gray Pants, just like they did against Colorado State. Pictures will come soon.

Who here or anywhere sits there and thinks that a team/school breaking out black jerseys/helmets/uniforms is cool? Has anyone really thought that if black wasn't a team/school color and they just include it randomly, that it's cool? I just am trying to get into the heads of the people who actually like these and the people who actually think this stuff works. It all looks horrible, I've never seen it look good at all.
