MJWalker45 Posted December 25, 2012 Posted December 25, 2012 The enlarged logo look is beyond stupid. Not to mention the assymetric look. Boise's look is pretty far down on the crap list for meI don't mind the enlarged logo. I hate the asymmetry, though.Exactly! All the schools that slap a logo on one side and number on the other look like high school teams. Pick one or the other
hawk36 Posted December 25, 2012 Posted December 25, 2012 That Boise look is seriously small time. If you want to be taken more serious as a big time CFB program, try to dress like it. This is like the teenage d-bags who show up to the prom in a top hat, tails, and a walking stick. A little kid's version of cool.Surprisingly, we agree. If it wasn't for the cursed orange jerseys, any combo with black would qualify as Boise's worst look.I do, however, think these are among the best uniforms in college football:I agree that both of those looks are great except for the helmet. Put the Boise "B" on there and call it a day. Done. Design Hovie Studios
thespleenenator Posted December 25, 2012 Posted December 25, 2012 Better Boise pictureWashington could have a classic. Base the rest of the uniform off the helmet, keep it simple. That Boise look is seriously small time. If you want to be taken more serious as a big time CFB program, try to dress like it. This is like the teenage d-bags who show up to the prom in a top hat, tails, and a walking stick. A little kid's version of cool.I don't get that. A small time program wouldn't be able to have that kind of uniform. They could easily get a classic look, but they wouldn't be able to get a uniform that was specifically crafted for them like that. If anything, it makes them look more big time. Whether or not it looks good is another story. But it by no means looks small time.Well, I guess that's where we just disagree. I understand that the look isn't cheap... that it isn't "off the rack" so to speak. That's not really what I'm talking about. To carry my high school prom analogy a little further, the d-bag in the top hat and tails paid a lot of money for his outfit, too.You can't buy class.Professionalism and class are not the same thing, nor do they necessarily go hand in hand. Why you make fun of me? I make concept for Auburn champions and you make fun of me. I cry tears.Chopping off the dicks of Filipino boys and embracing causes that promote bigotry =/= strong moral character.

Professionalism is classy and they do go hand in hand. You can't be classy without being professional.

RidgeRunner Posted December 25, 2012 Posted December 25, 2012 I saw the earlier posts about VT's matte helmet but I didn't see anything about their tribute to Sandy Hook. Not sure if this is actual size or just a mock-up but it will be centered on the back of the helmet. No word yet on the side decals. https://mobile.twitter.com/VTFBEquipment/media/grid?=undefined&idx=1&tid=282908967666077697

Lights Out Posted December 25, 2012 Posted December 25, 2012 Central Michigan jerseys for the Pizza Bowl. It's a lot better than their regular uniforms. POTD: 2/4/12 3/4/12
mania Posted December 25, 2012 Posted December 25, 2012 Also, hadn't seen these in on the helmets, just the decals. Bowling Green going USA USA USA. Off The Top Rope: A Pro Wrestling Podcast
MJWalker45 Posted December 25, 2012 Posted December 25, 2012 Also, hadn't seen these in on the helmets, just the decals. Bowling Green going USA USA USA.They should have just slapped a bigger flag on the back of the helmet. That'll be hard to make out during the game. And Central Michigan looks like Bethune Cookman. And that's not a compliment.
oldschoolvikings Posted December 25, 2012 Posted December 25, 2012 Central Michigan jerseys for the Pizza Bowl. What the hell? This looks like the pattern off the tights of some 80's wrestler... Ravishing Rick Rood, maybe?Or maybe just standard Zubas pants. Either way, not a connection you'd want your CFB program associated with. http://dstewartpaint.blogspot.com/
ONUV Posted December 25, 2012 Posted December 25, 2012 the undershirt is too much. not bad without it.

GFB Posted December 26, 2012 Posted December 26, 2012 I kind of really like that Central look. For one thing, Adidas matched the jersey numerals to the flying C. Secondly, I'm getting a Native American vibe from the pattern, like the FSU's collar on steroids. Third, their current uniforms are the perfect example of an awful modern uniform, so at least this is graphically well-designed.

Part of why I like it is probably because their normal uniforms are so bad, that almost anything is better. Why you make fun of me? I make concept for Auburn champions and you make fun of me. 4_tattoos Posted December 27, 2012 Posted December 27, 2012 Western Kentucky wearing gray unis. Is that new? Hotter Than July > Thriller
GriffinM6 Posted December 27, 2012 Posted December 27, 2012 Western Kentucky wearing gray unis. Is that new?I like them. The only bad part is that they're paired with a white helmet. Central Michigan actually doesn't look bad. This is definitely the most creative uniform from Adidas this year.
