Wasn't TCU originally supposed to wear their anthicrite jerseys?

Nope. TCU was always the road team and announced right after that became known that they would be in white/white. TCU hasn't worn anything but purple/white/white as the road team since losing to SMU in 2005 wearing purple/white/purple.

When the primary color of your helmet, jersey, and pants are all non-school colors, you're doing it wrong. I'm looking at you, ASU.

The white helmets and pants are excusable since everyone uses white.

Disagree since they have both in yellow and maroon (not to mention maroon jersey tops). It's not that they used white, it's that they used white when they could have more easily used school colors.

Well, yes, ASU should have worn gold-maroon-gold but that combination could have been worse. They could have gone with all-black.

Mighty Ducks of Anaheim (CHL - 2018 Orr Cup Champions) Chicago Rivermen (UBA/WBL - 2014, 2015, 2017 Intercontinental Cup Champions)

King's Own Hexham FC (BIP - 2022 Saint's Cup Champions) Portland Explorers (EFL - Elite Bowl XIX Champions) Real San Diego (UPL) Red Bull Seattle (ULL - 2018, 2019, 2020 Gait Cup Champions) Vancouver Huskies (CL)

Well, that's the story that goes around campus. I'll look for some proof of this, but I've heard it straight from the mouth of the Alumni director at ASU during orientation. Not saying that holds any legal clout, but it's the legend. It's as well a reason why one of our new logos is the freaking shocker (which is my avatar). It's a bit of a protest, and is even on the side of the football stadium. I about crashed my Jeep the first day I got to Tempe when I saw that.

And Sparky is in no way gone. He's still on signs all over campus, but there have been a ton of them that have been covered up with the new pitchfork logo.

That juvenile hand signal is an officially used school logo? Yikes, that's going to be a useless diploma...

Yeah because a logo really states the validity of a college degree

Just shut up.

You're right. Your eloquent reply says much more.

Moving on, the only thing Sparky ever reminded me of was this charming fellow.

Although now that I'm getting my first good look at the Devil, he's actually not similar at all!
