Excited to see them actually wearing their colors.My guess is that given a lot of the fan backlash at the university for not wearing school colors in the national championship, they've reacted to that in two consecutive years by going heavy green. It is called the Nike Pro Combat Hypercool Uniform. I posted about it on the last page.Easiest way to distinguish it from Speed Machine uniforms is the triangle of mesh about the armpits or the mesh under the nameplate on the back. RHSNEYES Posted January 4, 2013 Share Posted January 4, 2013 I'll probably get ripped for saying this, but what I love about the Oregon unis tonight is that despite having color-shifting numbers and green shoes and chrome helmets and all that, in terms of school colors and the color blocking, with balanced helmets/pants and dark shoes with white socks, this is about as old school as Oregon is gonna look. I always like when helmets and pants match when the team wears a white jersey and flat pants with helmets that have a sheen always bug me. I just imagine tonights uniforms being so sweet if they were matte green helmets w/ mallard wings, white jersey with iridescent numbers and wings and the plain matte green pants. About tonight, all season I hated the green lids, but tonight with all the iridescent going on, the lids look amazing. It's almost like they give off a fake iridescent look.
