BigBubba
If I close my eyes and listen to that, I envision a Disney Channel show about anthropomorphic smiling rainbow marlins dancing around in the sun. However, the song is ridiculously catchy, and really, isn't that all you want out of a promotional theme song? Nobody cares about your humungous-big signature. PotD: 29/1/
Epiphanic
Confirmation:http://msn.foxsports...comeback-031612Longtime Yankees pitcher Andy Pettitte came out of retirement Friday, agreeing to a one-year minor league deal with the Bronx ballclub. The 39-year-old left-hander, who retired before last season after 16 years in the big leagues, will get $2.5 million in the deal, according to multiple reports.I don't see him making the main roster but stranger things have happened.I just think to sit out an entire season is alot to come back from at 39. How much out of game shape did he get? He's also coming back very late into spring training so if he is not in game shape now he won't be ready to pitch in the majors until at least May. Are the Yankees going to be willing to give him a 40 man roster spot not knowing what they might get when he comes back if that's the case? It's a minor league contract. So I'd assume that he's not going to be on the 40-man roster until he's actually ready (if he gets ready). Besides, it's not like anyone is going to take him in the Rule 5 draft. McCall
Chipper Jones to retire after 2012 season.Class act and first ballot hall-of-famer in my book. Spent his entire career with one team. One of the best switch hitters all time. It'll be sad to see him go. Best of luck, Larry. https://dribbble.com/MakaioCall
JayJaxon
I'll tell you one thing, I'm damn proud that Chipper Jones plays for my team. There are not too many team-first guys left, but he is certainly one of them. I hope he has a great season.
bigbean24
Yep, a great man. I wish there was more players like Chipper and Ripken who played their whole career in one city. Brass
Some Yankee scrub pitcher just beaned Dustin Pedroia with a pitch and he's out of the game. Hoping it's nothing too serious. RedSox44
Despite the potential Pedroia injury, this Red Sox-Yankees game is the best spring training game I've ever seen.EDIT: The fact that it ended in a tie is bull . Forget I said anything about this being the best spring training game I've ever seen.
Kramerica Industries
Nah. Between the NCAA's and NHL and whatnot, I'll wait until April to get my fix of Yankees/Red Sox games.I mean, they only have 18 of them a year...
NJTank
I think there is a good chance Joba Chamberlain has thrown his last pitch in pinstripes.Joba Chamberlain, who once swept New York into a fervor with his dominant relief work for the Yankees, now finds his career in some doubt after dislocating his right ankle while playing on a trampoline with his son.Chamberlain, who was already working his way back from Tommy John elbow surgery at Yankees camp, suffered the injury at what general manager Brian Cashman explained was a "kid's center with athletic activities featuring trampolines," according to the YES Network's Jack Curry. Chamberlain had surgery Thursday night for what was described as an "open dislocation" and will be hospitalized for several days.http://content.usatoday.com/communities/dailypitch/post/2012/03/joba-chamberlain-dislocated-ankle-trampoline-son/1What a friggen genius www.sportsecyclopedia.com For the best in sports history go to the Sports E-Cyclopedia at http://www.sportsecyclopedia.com

This not only will almost certainly end his season, but this could even be a career ender.I haven't been on a trampoline since and refuse to ever crawl up on one of those death traps again.
