-(dp)-
That would help me a lot. It would be very tough to have something done by tomorrow.

gordie_delini
Yeah, sorry guys. I've been insanely busy of late, and I can only imagine the same for the other judges. Contestants, post your concepts, and let's make this an open forum for critique/feedback. I'll do my best to give individual critique for everyone if I can. These contests must eat up a lot of time to manage and run.Our hobbies often have to take a back seat when real life gets too busy.No problem. The idea of critiquing the concepts with you as the "client" is a good one.(I think I already got my critique back in post #37 )Anyway, good luck and thanks. *The Battle of Seattle

undead
Skeletor? I don't think Mattel would be too pleased. HahahaThat sure is what it ended up looking like. I had to rush to come up with an idea because I was going out of the country and my first entry was Phantom of the Opera based. -(dp)-
Okay, I will post both of the versions I created. I really wanted to make this relevant to the locals as much as possible, so I didn't want a Phantoms identity where any city could simply be swapped in and work just as well. The first time, it was pirate-related, but I tried my best to communicate ghost-pirate rather than just pirate. I also tried to use the ironwork found in the city as inspiration, which I did with the hair. That also helped push the ghost concept a bit further I think. Here is that version:Then we were told it should be a more generic phantom essentially, and also said they didn't want a 'helmet logo.' This made it even harder to make it define the community of Savannah, so I pushed the ironwork concept a bit further. Here it is:I had soooo many other concepts I tried during the first phase, and I may get around to posting some of those as well.

Santa gave them special sand-skates that allowed them to play in shorts and t-shirts in 115 degree weather. Jesus, Zeus and Buddha watched from the sidelines and ate cotton candy.
