creativelysain
So I've been working on some different poster ideas. I plan on screen-printing them and selling them at a later time. Below is the first print out of a collection of four. This collection is "HC SVNT DRACONES" or "Here Be Dragons." gordie_delini
your Latin should be HIC dracones sunt This is a sweet poster, love the halftones, and that dragon is sah-weet-uh!
Shumway
Wow. Love it. (I'm a sucker for halftone dot patterns)
creativelysain
Latin's not my thing haha. That was the way it was spelled on the Hunt-Lenox Globe which is where I got the idea. I think it's translated to "Here be Dragons" from the globe. Follow me on twitter @jrsainGo Heels
slapshot
Please adjust the kerning of "Dracones" before you make the prints. The D/R and A/C spaces are large enough in which to park your car! creativelysain
Thanks, they definitely could be tightened up. This is why I need someone other than my wife looking at these for comments haha. Follow me on twitter @jrsainGo Heels
chuckymack
How'd you get that halftone pattern? Sigs are for sissies.
creativelysain
Did it by hand. Created a dot pattern with the blend tool in Illustrator, then duplicated it over and over. The shading on the dragon was all done individually though. Follow me on twitter @jrsainGo Heels
