7 years and 3 days old when this happened. Only one I've ever seen. NONE of my other favorite teams have done it. Few of em (Thrashers, Hawks, Mississippi State football) haven't (or in the Thrashers case, NEVER) even come (came) close.

I'm not counting Manchester City's FA Cup win because, FFS, they're in freaking England & I identify with the local club here more than I do City or any random MLS team that I happen to like at the time.. :P

I was like 2.5 years old when the Braves won their WS title, so that doesn't really count. The two big ones I remember are as follows.

2005: University of North Carolina basketball. I watched all the ACC games that year. I was a huge Rashad McCants fan for some reason. I remember watching that whole NCAA tournament. My mom went to Illinois, so she wasn't happy after the game. She shut the game off and made me go to bed. I didn't get to see the trophy presentation.

2009: University of North Carolina basketball. I was so crushed after we got beat by Kansas the year before. I was thrilled when everyone came back to try and win the title. Watched every game I could remember. Just an unbelievable team. Even though it was almost given we would win the title, I was still so happy.

Born in 1989

Cubs: Nothing of course

Grizzlies: Again, nada

Blues: Nothing since I began following them (year before the lockout)

Sporting KC: Won an MLS Cup, but that was before I was paying attention. Became a fan their last year as Wizards

Liverpool: No league titles in my lifetime I think. Won a Champions League Title in 05, but I didn't start following soccer until the 08 Euros

Broncos: Won back-to-back Super Bowl Titles.

Arkansas State: Won a basketball conference title and this season won a football conference title. Almost won a bowling national title though. Not that anybody cares.

I'll count it as 3-ish. 2 Super Bowls and 2 conference titles.

The opinions I express are mine, and mine only. If I am to express them, it is not to say you or anyone else is wrong, and certainly not to say that I am right.

Born in 1991, and I'm going to count the titles that I can remember.

Cowboys: My first memory of a Cowboys game is the 1996 opener against the Steelers; we won 37-7. Coincidentally, that was the last time we beat the Steelers. But since I can remember, the Cowboys have won one playoff game...

Lakers: 2000, 2001, 2002, 2009, 2010

Kings: 2012

Dodgers: 0

Galaxy: 2002, 2005, 2011

Cowboys - Lakers - LAFC - USMNT - LA Rams - LA Kings - NUFC

Born June 3, 1983

Anaheim Ducks: 2007

Toronto Blue Jays: 1992, 1993

Pittsburgh Steelers: 2005, 2008

I don't really have an NBA team.

Other championships:

Cape Breton Oilers: 1993 Calder Cup (sorry Norfolk, but your playoff still can't compare to the insanity of the 1993 Oilers)

I had decided a few months ago to become a fan of Chelsea F.C. after going to London last summer. Even though I got to see Fulham F.C. live, I visited Stamford Bridge and the Chelsea Museum and began following the EPL with a more than rooting interest this season. I had also visited Wembley Stadium and got to hold the FA Cup, so I figured the fact that Chelsea won that was a sign. I was happy they won the Champions League, but I feel I'm too early into my fandom to have earned the right to celebrate it significantly.

I have also become a Montreal Impact fan now that they are in the MLS, mostly just because after following the EPL and watching it live, I'd like to invest in some soccer at home. It also didn't hurt that I was actually in Montreal in October 2009 the day they won the USL Championship and Impact fans were actually partying outside the Bell Centre that night before the Canadiens game I was attending.

Born 9/4/1986

Washington Redskins

- Won SB 1989, 91

I count these because they are still the talk of the town here. We haven't had much else to talk about aside from the hopeful speculation about Robert Griffin III being the savior of the franchise (like Jason Campbell was supposed to be, and Patrick Ramsey, and Jeff George, and Heath Shuler... ugh).

- Won NFC East 1999

Baltimore Orioles (pre-2005)

- Won AL East 1997

Washington Nationals (2005-)

- (nothing yet)

Virginia Commonwealth University Rams

- Won CAA Men's Basketball 1995, 2004, 07, 09, 12

- Won CBI Tournament (ugh!) 2010

- Won NCAA Tournament Southwest Region 2011 (we got a trophy, so it's a championship in a sense)

Oklahoma City Thunder (2009-)

- TBD (PLEASE beat the Heat. PLEASE.)

Born in 1989

Patriots 3 (2001, 2003, 2004)

Red Sox 2 (2004, 2007)

Celtics 1 (2008)

Bruins 1 (2011)

For a grand total of 7 titles in my 22 years. I'd say I've been pretty lucky. Probably not gonna occur at such a frequency for the rest of my life.
