WizKid
About a week ago, I posted a thread about the history and success of the Morgan State Lacrosse Club. This week I came across a story about a new club team at Hampton University (HULC). The events of this story truely gave the support and respect by HU students on campus towards the club. It really touched me just for the fact that I am a fairly new fan and athlete of the sport and I might possibly go to school and play for Hampton in a couple years. I hope this article can convey the same feelings the students and I have to you. There is a link below that shows the story by Lacrosse AllStars. They also beat a team comprised of Godzilla, the ghost of Abraham Lincoln, 2 Power Rangers and Betty White. Oh, and they played in the middle of Iraq on a military base. In the sand. With no ice. Santa gave them special sand-skates that allowed them to play in shorts and t-shirts in 115 degree weather. Jesus, Zeus and Buddha watched from the sidelines and ate cotton candy.
