-kj 2,331 Posted March 6, 2012 There have been several Bruins fans that have posted in this thread so far, but they've all posted the same actually okay-looking sweater instead of the real worst.Gentlemen, I present to you the infamous Pooh Bear sweater:There is absolutely nothing okay about the 1995-2007 set.The Pooh Bear is too dumb for me to get a real hard on of hate up for it.I've defended that set before... and I'll do it again. The home and aways were solid. I don't see why they're seem as exceptionally bad, besides some goofy reason about having played badly in them. I mean, some of the Blues' best years came when they wore the big red splotches, but you won't see me harboring any love for them. The Pooh Bear... well, it could have been worse. I still kinda like the striping on it.

I mean, some of the Blues' best years came when they wore the big red splotches, but you won't see me harboring any love for them. The uniforms that came before and after were infinitely better than what they wore between 1995 and 2007. And yes, negative connotations can arise when you have greedy ownership, dumbass general management and horrible coaching whilst wearing those uniforms.I'll say it before and I'll say it again: those jerseys were worn during the Bruins darkest days in their history. Remember, it was in these that Ray Bourque became ashamed to be a Bruin.Bruins fans (me included) simply cannot look at that uniform set alone without either taking in the set that came before, after or the feces-tastic product on the ice, usually a combination of the three.I don't even really consider them solid aesthetically. They were an unnecessary alteration of a timeless classic, and the set looked outdated three years before they were mercifully put to pasture. To think that they wore that in 2007 boggles my mind.
Lights Out 4,764 Posted March 6, 2012 I think that set was the only good uniform set the Bruins have ever worn... other than the alternate, with that hideous bear logo. I don't really get the hate for the normal home and road sweaters though.

Lights Out 4,764 Posted March 6, 2012 This is a VERY unpopular opinion... but I really like those uniforms. The infamous one-game navy vest is one of my favorite baseball jerseys of all time. My only qualms were the lack of an "Anaheim" script on the road, and the lack of a halo on the crown of the cap.
Fox 65 Posted March 6, 2012 hmm, I actually like the Browns in brown pants, just not brown socks. Either go full-white socks or (maybe) orange topped.
WSU151 9,523 Posted March 6, 2012 I actually do not mind the idea of the Browns using an orange jersey. I just don't like the drop shadow. Keep it consistent with the others and get rid of the drop shadow. On orange jersey with white numbers with no outline (consistent with the other jerseys) would look terrible.
vman 28 Posted March 6, 2012 Everything the Jays wore in this era was horrible, but this is my least favourite. The Ballard era jersey designs were worse, but the fugliness of this logo can't be topped. This is one that was alright at the time, but only later do you realize how tacky it was. Doesn't stand the test of time at all. Sure our colours are traditionally double blue, but this is why baby blue should never be the primary.
IanPhoenix 0 Posted March 6, 2012 Sure, it's old, but this is still what I think is the worst in Rangers' history. It's similar to today's Dallas Stars design with the basketball-esque curved wordmark. Someone posted the circa 1977 jerseys, but I actually prefer those to their current set. I much prefer a logo on a hockey uniform to a wordmark. Since ditching the Lady Liberty jerseys with the lockout, I think the Winter Classic uniforms were the best ones they've worn.
IceCap 21,968 Posted March 6, 2012 Toronto Maple LeafsThere's nothing particularly wrong with this look, but it's so unlike anything the Leafs have worn before or since. It's just so unnecessarily different. Plus they're associated with some of the team's darkest days.---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Toronto Blue Jays ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Toronto RaptorsThe 90s just leaps off the fabric! I used to love this look. Then again I was six when Jurassic Park came out, so you can't say the marketing team didn't know what they were doing.
IceCap 21,968 Posted March 6, 2012 Hamilton Tiger-Cats"Hey, lets take our horrible, poorly drawn logo and blow it up and put it on our shoulders!" The black monochrome was just the cherry atop the crap sundae that was this look.---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------San Diego ChargersThere are some good, interesting ideas here. Sadly, very few of those ideas are executed properly.
DG_ThenNowForever 15,396 Posted March 6, 2012 Way late to this thread, but that's a pretty cool BSU helmet.
Red Wolf 5,549 Posted March 6, 2012 Way late to this thread, but that's a pretty cool BSU helmet.I wonder if Boise will ever go back to mimicking the Denver Broncos.

My only qualms were the lack of an "Anaheim" script on the road, and the lack of a halo on the crown of the cap.I still don't think its a good look for a Major League team, but they'd look great on an Angels farm club.
AHcreative 505 Posted March 6, 2012 Rams:I just hate those white pants. There's no white on the helmet and we have a very slim amount on the jerseys, so the white pants just don't make sense. Blues:The big 'BLUES' script was really unnecessary. I'm not too fond of the current home set either.Cardinals: Quite honestly, I've never seen a Cardinals uniform that I really hated, so I can't choose.
Doran 0 Posted March 6, 2012 Copied from the other thread, but I've changed the captions:Toronto Maple LeafsTie:1970-1992I hate the Ballard leaf with a huge passion, and it's a betrayal they're still wearing it today. But it combined with a shoulder-length opposite-coloured stripe on both home and road jerseys is awful awful AWFUL.and2007-2010Stupid practice jersey...Toronto Blue Jays1997-2002, 2003Yeah, I hate this look more than the Black Jay look. Sue me. Not to mention it's combined with the worst years in team history. At least I liked the Black Jay look for about two years, but then I outgrew black because I wasn't in high school anymore. It's second on the list of horrible Blue Jay jerseys (especially with the graphite hat).
CrookedThumb 266 Posted March 6, 2012 It's even more disappointing when you consider the fact that every other set in their history was actually really good.Though I understand that Nike pretty much forced them to do this, so I'll give UF a pass on this.Same deal as the football uniform above, but these are absolutely atrocious.
FiddySicks 11,048 Posted March 6, 2012 I can't post a pic because I'm posting from my phone, but the current Sacramento Kings home jerseys are the worst in their history, and they've had some AWFUL looks in their time. Who's bright idea was it to slap not only the city script but a WHITE city script on a white jersey? The Webber era jerseys were great, and the update from that set was just as good if not better IMO. The current set is just miserable.
