This probably isn't worth anything, but I was just at CenturyLink Field yesterday morning and there wasn't even a single hint that there was going to be any change whatsoever. The employees in the Pro Shop had no idea there was going to be a change either.

Huh, interesting. No major existing jerseys on deep discount?

(While you were in the area, I hope you took the Safeco tour. It's an awesome experience for just $9.)

The only jerseys I saw on discount, and it was deep, we're Hasslebeck jerseys. Home, road, and green alt for only like $24. I was real close to getting one of those green jerseys, but I simply wouldn't ever wear it.

And, sigh, no. I didn't take the Safeco tour, because I'm dumb. I've taken a ton of of ballpark tours and they're all fantastic and really affordable. I was only up at Seattle U, so I simply could've walked down and taken it, but alas, I completely forgot. I did walk around the park and go to a a Sounders game, though. Great experience, awesome city (As was Vancouver!).

If what I'm seeing is correct, the new jerseys look a bit more radical than some are suggesting. I don't like the idea of a random white patch near the shoulders that somehow represents a wing. The helmet thing I can probably get used to, and it might even look really good, but random patches of color, as Nike has done in the past, are not a good look. Keep them for college practice uniforms or high school teams. I'm hoping what I'm seeing in that image is misleading because of the shading. We'll see tomorrow.

I'm not sure the shoulder design is made to represent a wing.

The wing like design element is found on the collar, pants, inside the numbers, and helmet.

Here's the image brightened up a bit more. There's definitely some green around the edge of the shoulders.

And it looks like it says Seahawks in the white area below the sholders? What is that all about?
