Gothamite
Not to mention that "BROOKLYN" on the front of the jerseys will be the single most valuable thing about this franchise. Hard to believe that they'd let that opportunity slide away. The Green Bay Packers Uniform Database! Now in a handy blog.

CoasterLine
Digging for more now...Edit:The new primary logo – created by Brooklyn's own JAY Z – retains the shield from its previous iteration, and adds that iconic Brooklyn 'B' to the basketball that has been part of every logo since the franchise's 1967 inception as the Americans. The Dodgers had their lettermark, and the Nets have added another model for the borough to bear. "Brooklyn," of course, is spelled out below. Nets CEO Brett Yormark called this "the new badge for Brooklyn," and JAY Z believes the design's boldness demonstrates confidence in the new direction. The main article seems to link to SportsLogos... at least they throw out some love Edit 2: Video:http://www.nba.com/video/cvp/teamarticleplayer.html?videoID=/video/teams/nets/2012/04/28/netsfinaloutputmov-2081483&width=576&height=324 Shaun RajewskiLead Developer, FounderEpic Web Studios LLC. CoasterLine
The ball with the B embedded is the secondary, while the shield is the new primary, with "BROOKLYN" below, same font as the links above and the "#HELLOBROOKLYN" splash page. Old School Fool
I honestly really want to see what the jerseys look like. If it's black on black with white trim and "Brooklyn" on it, then I'm sold.

Look at the S in the shield logo. I know the bottom has to be wider than the top because of the shape of the shield, but the S is still terrible.Do they really think someone will spend $1,500 a game to watch a dreadful team? I guess. Derek94
Interesting that no NFL or MLB team has immitated the Raiders and White Sox color schemes like our Nets have so boldy done.
jpcloninger
B stands for boring. I'm a little surprised they went so bland with the "color" scheme.

patsox
Well, it's official. I just saw someone from the Nets front office unveil the new logos and merch with Darren Rovell at the Barclay's Center on CNBC.

Gothamite
Well, that's the NBA for you. Force a name into the "primary", ensuring that nobody ever actually uses the primary logo. keynote
I actually prefer the "Brooklyn" word mark on the bottom of the primary, rather than on the top (as seen here):
