The 'refilling' of the jersey as more and more blood comes in. I am not saying yiu'd want to do it every year, but as a one off in support of the cause, it's great IMO. 2011/12 WFL Champions
-kj
I don't much care for that Marseille shirt, honestly. The shiny stripes don't do it for me, nor do the large French flag stripes. It's also not nearly as fine as these beauties: Buy some t-shirts and stuff at KJ Shop! Foxxtrot44
I know the elements of that Marseille kit are from various points in their history...but put all together with that new sponsor logo this kit looks much more retro than I think they anticipated. It seriously looks like a kit that would have been worn in the 80's... I HATE THIS TIMELINE

I saw someone wearing a jersey with that crest yesterday and I was wondering what team it was... now I come here the next day and the answer is right there. The world works in mysterious ways sometimes. Thus, the new ones look outright plain.

spottedbadger
wow that is quite a departure from the usual Marseille modus operandi, and it turned out really well. I absolutely love what they did with the badge and wish they'd just adopt it full time.
shaydre1019
Not really related, but Anderson silva was wearing some yellow Nike soccer tights. I think the anti friction ones. And he may have been wearing a jersey/training jersey of a team. Just kinda didn't wanna make a new thread. Also the little guy fight after has one guy with what look to w Houston rocket inspired shorts. Totally unrelated, sorry. I absolutely love what they did with the badge and wish they'd just adopt it full time. It's just a throwback. The badge and the french flag trimming is from their 1972 national title. Back then there was a tradition in France that the champions would bare the flag colors on their jerseys collar and cuffs, like the italian do with the scudetto badge. The shiny stripes are from the '93 Champions League title, which 20 years will be celebrated by the end of the upcoming season.

I wish the badge had some red and blue in it to balance the trim.
