shaydre1019 1,062 Posted October 16, 2012 Interesting - that seems to have happened to the shirt in his picture.I have the version with the blue sash, but I've never worn it, much less washed it.What's yours made of?Mine is like a dri-fit cotton i believe. Not your modern soccer jersey material which would explain why it bled.I think the hoops white white will look pretty solid. And france in all white looks sharp af.
Kevin W. 1,879 Posted October 17, 2012 Hoops-white-white definitely looked good. I think the win had something to do with it, though.
gdu 160 Posted October 17, 2012 Hoops and whites worked for me, but I didn't feel like the socks matched it very well with the clunky navy upper.
aawagner011 2,312 Posted October 17, 2012 I actually really liked the white shorts with the hoops, even though I didn't think I would. I'm not sure that I would like it as the primary (definitely prefer the splash of navy blue color!), but it looks great as a change up look. This new identity has grown on me a lot!
crashcarson15 2,466 Posted October 18, 2012 Honestly, I love this set for the USMNT. Add hooped socks to the home and it's perfect. There's some great looks that we can put together - and I've absolutely fallen in love with the road navy on white look.
Kevin W. 1,879 Posted October 20, 2012 USWNT and Germany wearing their standard home kits against each other tonight. The top two teams in the world facing off in their manufacturers' top-of-the-line kits.
MJWalker45 5,524 Posted October 22, 2012 I actually had a hard time watching this. The USA should have gone with their blue tops to make the difference that much easier to see. When a USA players back is turned the majority of the shirt was white. And with navy and black shorts their wasn't a big enough difference in the two. Only the socks clearly clashed.
-kj 2,335 Posted October 22, 2012 You mean that Germany should have changed, being the away side.

Droost 0 Posted October 27, 2012 Don't have a pick yet but Chicago Fire are on NBC Sports Network wearing their all blue kits w/ pink socks and pink numbers/nameplates for Breast Cancer Awareness Month (Saturday 10/27) . Looks OK.
Foxxtrot44 451 Posted October 29, 2012 Dear Adidas, please leave the sleeve stripes at home.Arsenal to Adidas...
Gothamite 23,711 Posted October 29, 2012 Uh, oh. This Arsenal season-ticket holder is a bit worried. More sterling is a good thing, but at what aesthetic price?
GFB 2,105 Posted October 29, 2012 FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU..................Uh, oh. This Arsenal season-ticket holder is a bit worried. More sterling is a good thing, but at what aesthetic price?Might as well fold the club, in my opinion... FML.Looks like I'm going to be buying both of this years kits and probably a lot of merch when the Nike stuff clears out.
Billy B 154 Posted October 29, 2012 That's pretty bad news. The three stripes on sleeves are really difficult to make work on their shirt design. Hopefully they figure something out and it doesn't look too bad.
Gothamite 23,711 Posted October 29, 2012 When contrasting sleeves are your single defining feature, they ought not be cluttered up. Arsenal will probably end up looking like the Timbers:Given the crest, I'd actually like those two-tone torsos.
Jarred Revolver 10 Posted October 29, 2012 Hopefully Nike has the option to match any offers Arsenal gets...
