ColeJ Posted April 24, 2012 Share Posted April 24, 2012 not to mention, that version of the sweaters was the one only worn a couple years... the majority of the time those sweaters were in use, the road jersey had 2-layer numbers, while the homes had 3-layer. that, coupled with the totally different sleeve stripes, makes them mismatched to me.sorta like the beloved cup-run north stars sweaters that were "matched" but one had a shoulder yolk, the other didn't. the stars have always been sorta wonky.i think our current look is mismatched too. hem stripes on the road, not on the home. green and gold (no black) on the road, black and gold (no green) at home. 2-color wordmark/names/numbers on the home. 3 on the road.
