I still remember this card from the early 1980s. I wonder whether he'd broken his jaw or something.

Story B: Red Wings go undefeated and score 100 goals in every game. They also beat a team comprised of Godzilla, the ghost of Abraham Lincoln, 2 Power Rangers and Betty White. Oh, and they played in the middle of Iraq on a military base. In the sand. With no ice. Santa gave them special sand-skates that allowed them to play in shorts and t-shirts in 115 degree weather. Jesus, Zeus and Buddha watched from the sidelines and ate cotton candy.

If memory serves, Dickerson was asked about the amount of equipment he wore and he said if someone made a piece of safety equipment, it was made for a reason and that he was going to wear it. I think his gear weighed about ten pounds total. He's a pretty good argument against the idea that too much equipment makes players slow.

I always thought he looked pretty cool wearing all that stuff.

Rajon Rondo always rocking the upside down headband.

Now that's gangster

And against NBA rules, which is why Rondo doesn't wear the headband anymore

He still wears one, it just doesn't have the NBA logo on it.

That headband is inside-out. It's probably the same style he used to wear, he just wears the logo on the inside. Is there a reason refused to wear the logo rightside up? It has to be some kind of statement.

He said he wanted to turn the NBA upside down.
