SportsFan12
They are not gonna wear them. They were just made to sell. Teams can't wear colors like that in actual games. It's too close to white..That's nonsense.NE had sliver-gray alternate jerseys in the early to mid 00's ..... they wore them as away uniforms with their navy pants and the opponent wore their colored home jerseys, like when Dallas played at NE and they wore their rarely used navy jerseys with silver pants. If Seattle wants to wear them they can, if so their opponent will have to wear their home uniform.Maybe you are right but then why have they not worn them yet? Perhaps they were saving them for one of these matchups.
dennisbergan
Maybe you are right but then why have they not worn them yet?Teams have parts of uniform they never wear.Like the Titans white pants. Or the Vikings purple pants. Or the Bears orange pants (which, despite what some have said, do exist and could be worn if the Bears chose to). Or hell, even the Seahawks white pants (which have yet to see the field).

Cujo
I'm expecting some sort of black ribbon, ala the Broncos, will appear on the Chiefs helmets tomorrow. Nothing more. Nothing less.

The Vikings DO have purple pants and they've worn them in recent seasons both at home and on the road. They've gone monochrome with them at home twice, once against the Bears and the other time against the Arizona Cardinals.I also remember seeing them wear them on the road, white with the purple pants, against the Bears at Soldier Field.and I believe one or two other road games.17-Dec-2007 .. dennisbergan
Dennis ... The Vikings DO have purple pants and they've worn them in recent seasons both at home and on the road.Yes, they have worn them a few times before. But at this point, they basically have been shelved. Haven't worn them in 2 years now. So basically, they have become a uniform element that isn't worn. Like the Titans white pants or the Seahawks white pants or the Bears orange pants. The monochrome purple look for the Vikes, was actually pretty good. For a couple of games a year, that would look nice. Just like all green would look good for the Eagles a couple games a year. A very nice changeup look. I hope whatever the Jags do for their new threads, that they do incorporate teal pants into their uniforms. It would be unique. And as invisible as Jacksonville is as a football franchise, they could use any attention they can get. I'd go with black primary home jersey. White primary road jersey. Teal alt jersey. With black, white and teal pants options. It could work, if done right.

Many of us up here greatly disliked that color.Their new all-white looks beautiful today! The Seahawks denim blue looked awesome, IMO... the problem was that they paired it with navy, which made the color scheme into a muddled, dull mess. But it would have been awesome if they used that denim blue with the current set instead of navy. POTD: 2/4/12 3/4/
