Early Predictions:

NFC South

Buccaneers 11-5

Saints 10-6

Falcons 7-9

Panthers 7-9

I like the way you predict!!!!

All horsesh** aside, though....the way the NFC South usually goes, though, that's entirely possible. (And again, Mo-Mo got them to break .500 his first season at the helm, so...)

I think they can make the playoffs. I love Schiano, hopefully he has success in the NFL. Giving Jassshhh Freeman some weapons, and wrangling up Carl Nicks is huge. Defense needs to be on their game though.

Might not win 11 but I think they'll be in the race all year.

@NEW ERA: Your win total for the NFL comes to 260, considering there are 256 games played in an NFL season, that's not possible.

Like I'm going to go through every game, just a ballpark guess, give or take a few wins and losses. :P

You just got me prepared for Tnak's College Football Preview.

You were wrong about Morris' first year. That was 09', and was a disastrous 3-13(though amazingly beat GB and NO that year).

D'oh! Correct you are.

(See what selective memory does for you?)

The only thing preventing me from predicting a Super Bowl win for the Packers is the fact that I have no friggin' clue how the defense is going to pan out. Suffice to say that if they do a decent job... not even necessarily a good one, but a decent one... they have a shot.

With the release of Charlie Peprah, and uncertainty of Morgan Burnett. Safety is going to be a major problem, I'm confident that the pash rush will come around though.

I'll say my good team, the Ravens, go 12-4 and my bad team, the Vikings, go 5-11. There is just not as much hype about the Vikings this year like there usually is around here.

Eric Legrand announced his retirement from the Bucs today, letting them go into camp with a 90-man roster.

Get 'em while you can.

Story B: Red Wings go undefeated and score 100 goals in every game. They also beat a team comprised of Godzilla, the ghost of Abraham Lincoln, 2 Power Rangers and Betty White. Oh, and they played in the middle of Iraq on a military base. In the sand. With no ice. Santa gave them special sand-skates that allowed them to play in shorts and t-shirts in 115 degree weather. Jesus, Zeus and Buddha watched from the sidelines and ate cotton candy.

...and no Nick Collins either. Damn shame he got cut, but with all the heat the NFL has been taking over debilitating injuries, no team in its right mind is gonna let him literally risk his neck.

Bears just traded a late pick for Bucs DT Brian Price. Anyone give me some info on him?

I don't make predictions but I will say this: if the Saints somehow weather the storm to become the first team to ever play a "home" SB - and win it - well, that will make for the most awkward Lombardi presentation since this one:

I can only hope. :D

2010 NFL Draft scouting report.

He has been injury prone, however, and also shown character problems in-game before. Not too surprised Schiano and his character-first regime was willing to give him his walking papers; this is more or less an upside move that the Bears are hoping for. A change of scenery might do him some good.

I read on CNNSI they'll continue to sell them for charity.

I don't know anything about him but last time the bears traded a pick for a bucs d line man he died a few weeks after.

Gaines Adams. I remember that. Price is similar to Adams in that he has a HUGE potential upside, but (so far) has never reached it. I'm pretty stunned that the Bucs were so willing to give up on him so early, so that's pretty telling IMO.
