drdougfresh
What is the story there? Interesting.Think he's saying: “Take him out. I can’t do it no more.” Among other things today, this was after a drive stalled at our 20 because Titus Young (and the rest of the team) has the dropsies. The four downs prior:Stafford incomplete short to SchefflerCherilus False StartStafford incomplete short to YoungStafford incomplete short to YoungStafford incomplete deep to Scheffler (yes, Tony Scheffler was the deep route, and he had no shot)And after this, Jefferson blew up. Can't blame him. I think it was beginning to boil over on the drive prior, though, when the Lions drove down the field on Stafford throws of 4, 27, and 24 yards, finding them on the 10 yard line with a chance to go up 10 with 4 minutes left. Linehan's play calls:Leshoure rush for 3 yardsLeshoure rush for -2 yardsStafford incomplete short to Young (hit in the hands and dropped)I can't stand him, and it looks like Jefferson can't, either. It's too bad he's only a WR coach, and he'll probably be the one getting smacked on the hand for that. Linehan's way too conservative for this offense, and when he does take shots... TONY SCHEFFLER. Come on.
rams80
Just gonna live vicariously through Shawn Jefferson for a minute:I can just see the quintessential vacant Linebaka expression on his face. And that's probably pissing off Jefferson even more. The days of him roaming zombie-like through the practice facilities eating cold cereal at all hours are surely here again.Leshoure rush for 3 yardsLeshoure rush for -2 yardsStafford incomplete short to Young (hit in the hands and dropped)Ahh....memories.... The_Admiral
Yeah, but I don't think the Bears have won a game at Candlestick in like 40 years. ♫ oh yeah, board goes on, long after the thrill of postin' is gone ♫
Kramerica Industries
Last time the Bears won at Candlestick was 10/13/1985.History regards that Bears team as a pretty good one. And I think that game was also a Monday Night game.EDIT - no, it wasn't.
NEW.ERA
Kaepernick will be fine. Even with Smith, they wouldn't stretch the field. This was going to be running game even with Smith and Cutler. Plus the Niners have a slightly better front 7 in my eyes, Campbell won't have anytime to sit in the pocket. CS85
I'd like to apologize on behalf of my favorite team that you're being exposed to this substandard brand of football. CS85
Looking at the rest of the Bears schedule is ridiculous. The Vikings and Lions' quality is debatable, but they're not pushovers. This Bears team relies far too heavily on momentum, and with the arrow pointing drastically down, it wouldn't shock me at all if this is merely the tip of the implosion-iceberg.What sickens is me is that the evil spite magic that floats around the NFL will grace the Packers with another title and as we witness the Bears flush their roster for Rebuild: Year One, Green Bay and their Cards-fans-esque following of insufferable grotesques can rub our faces in it once more. Kramerica Industries
It's almost as if the Bears didn't prepare enough for Kaepernick this week.SF has points on every possession, and it's no wonder they can't move the ball, either - the Niners defense is getting tons of rest. AnythingChicago
Let's not tackle. Those were the words of Lovie Smith in his pregame speech, as it turns out.And Kaepernickmania is underway as predicted, but maybe a week to early for my liking. Midway
Campbell is surely the answer the Bears needed at backup. Sigh. This team is hopeless gameplanning without Cutler.
ninersdd
This is just way too easy tonight. The Bears defense hasn't bothered to show up, and their O-Line is a joke like the Green Bay game. Carimi didn't seem like he tried on that last sack. Hard to believe the Niners deserved to lose to the Rams last week. CS85
This is straight up embarrassing, but as a Bears fan I and many others are, at this point, used to games like this that expose our team and begin the inevitable decline to mediocrity. ninersdd
Jason Campbell should sue Carimi for being worse then a turnstile tonight. Also, I know this game is over, but how do the refs blow that call? That was obviously a safety, and at least they overturned it.
