Guest darkpiranha
Liked it better with the colors reversed. What does the new design look like with these colors?
NCCoachArete
How about using white and/or black for the outline to make the rhino stand out helmet wise?
hawkfan89
What if you go very dark grey (almost black) on the rhino itself, light grey in the background, and a dark red outline. That might make the rhino stand out a bit more. http://phlnetwork.blogspot.ca/
hugevolsfan
Here is a couple of options I tried various colors & the Red Rhino looks the best IMO.I like it better in the Oval what say you? THEANGEL&THEGAMBLER
Maybe it would be clearer if the dark gray went inside the oval with the outline of the rhino? The one with the oval doesn't distinguish the rhino enough to me.
Dan O'Mac
IMO, it looks much better without the oval I like this.

Guest darkpiranha
I don't know. When I compare this version with the earlier versions (where the rhino is grey), this one is much harder to distinguish. The red and grey, at least these shades of them, are too tonally similar and they bleed into each other. Plus the added shapes of the oval pieces further complicate it. Just playing around with the logo on my own, I did a version where the rhino is lighter grey, the rhino stroke is darker red, the oval background is the fuschia red you have now, and the oval stroke is a darker grey, and everything is clear and distinct and still maintains the red/grey color scheme. One other test I did on the current version is the shrink test, where I make the logo very small to see if it's still distinguishable, and it doesn't take very much shrinking before the rhino idea gets lost. NCCoachArete
Don't like it with the oval as much. I wonder what this would look like on a gray helmet or a white helmet. If you used a white helmet, I would leave the gray color out.
hugevolsfan
Here are a couple more versions on Davidsons Helmets the more I see it the more I like the Red & White version. dsaline97
The second one looks good, even with the oval and non-contrasting negative space behind the rhino. Maybe its the double outline helps clean it up.
Dan O'Mac
I like the red helmet, but I feel like the facemask should be grey I like this.
NCCoachArete
The second helmet is the best of the two...still would like to see a white option.
ElTeduardo
I think the 2nd one would look better with grey facemask imo but it is better than one.
LAWeaver
I like two, but might I suggest putting the logo from two onto the gray helmet? hugevolsfan
Alright this is the last post before I finalize this one hopefully. Here are some helmet options I like 1 the best with 5 second & 2 next.I do not like 3 or 4 at all.I really want to use gray here instead of red or white because of the last 5 teams left this one will be the third with a red helmet. GotPixels
Option 5, but you could make the Rhino head and horns white and keep the gray outline. I think that would make it pop. Old Dog Learning New Tricks.
