touchdownindia
Brown is just a tough color to use in sports. Yes Hershey Bears have their identity tied to a chocolate empire, but the need to be ultra-literal ultimately hurts the final identity.
Gothamite
Brown is a fantastic sports color, made all the stronger by its relative scarcity in the pros.I don't think they're being overly literal with this. It's not like they've added paw prints to the gloves, eyes to the helmets or anything like that. They're using a strong color, a color tied not only to their nickname but also their community's famous namesake. The Green Bay Packers Uniform Database! Now in a handy blog. Morgan33
I know it's only minor hockey but these jerseys look so slapdash it's embarassing. Why put all that effort into creating a traditional set of logos with a vintage colour palette when their destination is a hideous almagamtion of Reebok's "vision?" Phantom shoulder yokes just might exceed chest piping as the dumbest idea Reebok has ever come up with. I cannot think of one jersey that has benefitted from them. -kj
I disagree about the "phantom yokes"... but maybe this goes in "Unpopular Opinions". Buy some t-shirts and stuff at KJ Shop!
