How many more years does reebok have the contract for? Considering they're effectively getting out of the endorsement business to position themselves primarily in the fitness arena, I'd have to think that licensing is next. Maybe it's a different strategy up North.

Given the team name and their insistence people spell it using all caps? Yeah, it needs more red. That being said, I was expecting worse. I'd ditch the white helmets (when I think Ottawa football I think black helmets), work more red into the striping, and ditch the dated Falcons/Broncos-esque pants stripes.

I get not wanting to stamp on Calgary's toes, but a little more red would be nice. The monochrome is bland, and the all-black (ALLBLACK?) pairing is atrocious (hello, BC). The white helmet looks cheap, and why the hell are CFL teams so resistant to use helmet stripes? Toronto, Saskatchewan, BC, Hamilton (though I think they brought them back this year), Calgary, and now Ottawa. It looks so rec-league.

Overall? C+. Not good, not awful. I was expecting a lot worse.
