Even then, "my bitch teacher" is an appositive, and should be set off with commas. Is that supposed to represent a pinstripe, or did the letter itself have those little spires poking out? I like it. Gives it even more character.The "central line" actually represents the soutache (piping) on the caps in those years, ala the Ty Cobb era. From San Berdoo to Kalamazoo.
