Cujo
The Angels are wearing a black patch. What's it for?I believe it's a patch for Dr. Lew Yocum who passed away last week. I saw a pic of it somewhere but I can't recall where....it may have been here? And Dr. Lew Yocum is....... ?

LEWJ
Regarding the Indians stars and stripes cap...It seems as though they will be wearing their navy alternate. They tend to wear the wahoo cap with their navy alternate and white home uniform. Since the cap is gray I'm guessing they'll wear navy on the road. |Â BROWNS | BUCKEYES | CAVALIERS | INDIANSÂ | Â

CubsFanBudMan
So the White Sox are wearing their BP caps in Seattle tonight. My guess is it's a superstition thing to snap the six-game skid they are currently on. With the gray jerseys, they don't look too bad (gray bills on otherwise normal cap). I think it's the first time for them.Do we have a thread with the full list of teams that have worn the BPs this year?
JTernup
It sucks to see teams like the Giants and Sox (both) wearing their BP's and the Rockies who finally put a logo I have been vying for, for years haven't. Old School Fool
Awesome to see the White Sox wearing a silver bill hat finally. It should be worn with the black alternate, aswell.Ironically, they also wore the hat against the Mariners, who also should bring back their silver bill hat. I feel like that hat gets no love. Would look perfect paired with the 1999-2000 navy alt jerseys, resurrected. From San Berdoo to Kalamazoo. McCall
Metallic silver billed Mariner caps = No. No metallic colored bill has ever looked good, Astros included. Also, Rockies BP cap logo is a terrible cap logo as well. Looks awkward and minor league-ish and an actual downgrade from the current 'CR' logo. Â Â https://dribbble.com/MakaioCall

In order for the mountains to actually work on a cap, it'd have to be something closer to this...***SHAMELESS PLUG ALERT***Perhaps without the purple on the brim. Silver brims are fine for BP and fashion caps, but should never see the field. And the Mariners already did that crap, then went into the dark ages, of which they are hopefully coming out. They need to feature teal, not silver.

JTernup
Well as far as lights out's concept I don't like the purple on the bill (what is that supposed to be), I would like for the mtns to be ~15% smaller and keep the ball and flight path of the ball. Without the aforementioned the mtns are too "flat" with too much dead space. I do agree that the bottom of the mtns should touch the bill, I do think the bill would need to be entirely purple as well.McCall the Rockies are a 93 expansion team and honestly, almost every team has a letter on their hat. It would be a good way to distance themselves from the crowd and help to emphasize the purple and mtns as the new direction for the franchise. 2007 is finally far enough away that the club feels comfortable ditching the black and silver drab in favor of more PURPLE! Bmac
I just saw what is listed as a new batting practice jersey for Majestic. It is perhaps the ugliest baseball jersey I've ever seen. That better not be a sign of things to come. https://www.behance.net/bmatukewic8043
Gothamite
"Ugly" is de rigueur for batting practice jerseys. Has been for years. The Green Bay Packers Uniform Database! Now in a handy blog.
