2013 MLB Logo and Uniform Changes

What year did the Stars and Stripes style caps debut? Any resource floating around that shows what the style looked like each year?

First year was 2008, I'm almost positive.

2008: all navy

2009: all red

2010: white crown navy/red bill

2011: white front panel with navy/red rest

2012: camo

That seems about right. 2008 was the first time where it was a league-wide thing. Teams in the past have worn their own version of RW&B but not as a league-wide deal

Go A's!

Yeah, after 9/11 New Era put out a bunch of Stars and Stripes caps for fans, but the teams didn't wear them.

The A's swapped their colors for RWB a few times as well. They basically just looked like the braves.

"Ugly" is de rigueur for batting practice jerseys. Has been for years.

This is a whole different level of ugly.

The 2013 All-Star jerseys are "supposed" to be the new 2014 BP templates, but that wasn't 100% confirmed. Did it look like that, but with crappy paneling/trim?

Go Astros!

Go Texans!

Go Rockets!

Go Javelinas!

Kind of but not quite. Looking at it again today, the paneling is similar but the overall cut is different. Seams in different places and such.

And a home alt at that. (Can't see that working with the road cap.) We'll see. That's a straight up inverse jersey. Not many teams can do that.

Are we positive this isn't a mislabeled fashion jersey? The jock tag doesn't look right for an authentic:

and we've seen similarly styled fashion jerseys in the past:

Yeah, all I said is "we'll see." I have no info. Seems just as likely to be a fashion jersey.

This particular image is of a replica jersey. Listed with the regular replica jerseys.

I went to the game. It was weird seeing the home team in gray. The Twins looked OK. I thought the Brewers looked pretty good. Target Field even used the throwback logos on the scoreboard and the line score read "Brewers" and "Saints".

I suppose next year the Twins will don Minneapolis Millers gear for a game.

They wore millers stuff last season, went all out with the boards, etc as well.

Google search says that Tigers jersey is a fashion one, but I wouldn't be too surprised if they randomly decided to wear it for a game or two for some promotion. I think the Tigers could pull it off.

The Rays also wore a plaid bill hat a few years ago, which was a fashion hat.

The Rays are a 90s expansion team, they shouldn't be playing Original 26 dress-up. However, Ye Olde Detroite Tigres have too much tradition and are too proud for that and just need a plain jersey with Piping™ and no outlines.

Also, I saw Ye Olde Tigres wearing a different font in spring. Are they changing anything?

the worst helmets design to me is the Jacksonville jaguars hamlets from 1995 to 2012 because you can't see the logo vary wall
