I just got my renewal paperwork for my D Backs season tickets, and it included a pretty good look at the Sydney Series logo for next season between the D Backs and Dodgers.

The Yanks roads doesn't look like a 70s jersey. It's not all in your face with bold colors.

I actually liked the Dodgers with the white outline. Made reading the lettering easier. And the Dodgers have made how many changes to their uniform in the past 30 years? They're always looking to change something

The Dodgers road lettering would look brighter and read easier without the need for a white outline if they used a color pattern that better replicated the gray flannel of old. Like what Under Armour made for Mizzou Baseball a few years ago.

I've always thought the grey Majestic uses for the road uniform was too light of a shade and didn't provide enough contrast to the home uniform.

And that's why Brian Wilson is the craziest guy in baseball.

Who's Brian Wilson? Oh yeah, a guy that hasn't pitched in a long time and is just a side show for the Dodgers. That's what this move is.

Is that good for a closer?

Yes it is good, for any player era is earned runs per 9 innings

Keep in mind that while an ERA of 3.21 may be very nice for a starter, it isn't as impressive for a closer. Closers have to pitch only one inning, and thus don't have to deal with fatigue or facing each guy in the lineup multiple times.
