Mitch B
the cards wear red with the roads in spring.looks really good. but so does the navy. it's hard for me to find a preference actuallyTo me it's no contest. Those photos are a thing of beauty!Great uniform, even if it doesn't vary much from the home version. "Of course, that's just my opinion. I could be wrong." Brian E
I'm excited to see what the new Mets alts will look like. Also looking forward to the Cards supposedly dumping the navy road cap, and still crossing my fingers on my Mariners bringing back the teal bill for all home games (plus a return of the teal-crowned alt cap would be nice).Sidenote: the Astros didn't introduce a BP cap with their new design. Does that mean these new "5950 BP" rumors are just a hoax and teams will just be wearing one of their game caps for BP? I know several teams already do that.Anyone heard a date on a Mets unveil?rumor was 11/14. don't know if that date will be affected by sandy or not, but i'd expect an unveil before thanksgiving so they can get them in the clubhouse shops for black friday. zilch
I hear rumors that the cardinals are doing an ivory St. Louis alternate jersey and that the birds on the bat are going to be moved slightly on all the jerseys. I'll will find out more details when I see the majestic line for next year tomorrow. Still don't really believe it.
TheOldRoman
That sounds horrible and unnecessary. However, if it works well, hopefully they scrap it in a year and slap "St. Louis" on the road jerseys.

If an alternate is necessary go with red.
Cujo
I know it's not happening next season, but I'd really like to see the Rockies update their logo and uniforms. So much potential. I'd say they're a bit overdue.

Their colors are great (especially for baseball, which doesn't have much of a variety). Maybe tweak the purple and make it little less blue, but that's the only color I would touch. What they need to address is the logo, which is starting to become pretty dated, and update those uniforms of theirs. Way too many generic fonts going on. I've seen several concepts on here and an upgrade is definitely doable.
zilch
November 16 will be the press conference to show the cards new jersey. There was no sample or picture of it. MLB.com and the cards will have two weeks to sell the jersey before general public sales on Black Friday. I hope to have more details a little later. I hope to have more details a little later.Seeing "St. Louis" on the front of a jersey will be great. I'm really hoping that if the jersey is indeed ivory, that they will wear the "solo bird" Sunday alt cap with it. That is the only cap I can picture fitting well with this new jersey. Especially if the rumors of the navy cap going away are true. Neither that nor the solid red cap would go well an ivory jersey, IMO. From San Berdoo to Kalamazoo. zilch
I think everyone will be kinda disappointed. I believe it's not going to be the script with the birds on the bat, but a simple St. Louis across the front, assuming based on first years of the Cardinals. Once again I don't have a whole lot of info just telling you what I know and don't know. Apparently is been in the making for well over 6 months. Just hope it's not to plain. McCall
Yeah I'm not buying no birds on the bat. The last time they were removed, there was an enormous backlash, it only lasted a season and someone was fired for making the decision. As a lifelong Cardinals fan, can't say I'm really a fan of this. I like being one of the few teams with no alternates. https://dribbble.com/MakaioCall
zilch
Oh yes I totally agree with you, I almost didn't wanna hear this. The cards are to much of a tradional team, they should have no alternates this is what makes them unique, not quite as much as the Yankees but do I dare say the Yankees of the National League. Maybe something like this, but I hope they jazz it up. Gonna be kinda hard to spend the money on an authentic that looks like my old church ball jersey. Magnum
Seeing "St. Louis" on the front of the roads would be a nice change.Obviously, they're not going to put out a day just for cap changes, so this should be something to look forward to. NDwas
Two rumors I will kick out the door:• St. Louis on the roads• Bat without birds Tomorrow's just your future yesterday.
TheOldRoman
I don't think anyone was suggesting St. Louis would be on the roads. I suggested that if the pointless alt looks good and sells (and I'm sure it will just by virtue of it being different and having St. Louis on it), I hope they dump it in a few years and instead put St. Louis on the roads at that time. Lights Out
Yeah, this does have the feeling of a "test run" to gauge the fanbase's reaction to wearing the city name. Now, if Cardinals fans are REALLY the "best fans in baseball," they'll vote with their wallets and show approval so that the team can finally ditch that silly team-name-on-the-road look.
