Some of these designs are cool, but on the whole it seems just...kitschy to say "No no, THESE are the hats you'll wear to BP. They've got weird colors, alternate logos, and piping and stuff." I get it, it's a business. No sport relies on it's caps more than baseball, but ehh..EHHH. I will say I approve of how many teams are employing the white panels, however.Nope, you're not the only one. I hate the idea of BP hats. The best are the Twins, A's, Mets, D-Backs, BoSox, and Astros, and the worst are the Braves, Brewers (primary), Dodgers, Indians, Marlins (home), Padres, Reds (road), Tigers, and Yankees. The Mets and Reds using their mascots, the Athletics with the elephant, and some of the teams that went with contrasting front panels.Some are just awful though. There are a lot of teams that went with contrasting front panels that had no business doing so.And why do the Cubs keep on using the white C as their BP cap. Especially the Braves one. Arguments of racism aside, it's just a terrible logo for an MLB team to use in any capacity.Lots of the contrasting panels look pretty good IMO, but some like the Tigers made me scratch my head.Why, why, why must the Cubs always use a white C on their BP caps?Really wish the Mariners would have gone with a silver bill. Heck, even an updated trident look would have been fun to see.Two questions: when will these be available for purchase, and if these are 59Fiftys, will they end up costing the same as the game caps? It's a bit of a throwback and I prefer the effect that the red outline adds.And "always" is a stretch. Only this one and the previous cap had a white C. The walking cub is too busy for a cap. I was happy they went solid blue only for the game cap, but this was the perfect situation to bring back the white panel cap. Any of the caps with mascots are great (even the Braves one), and most of the contrasting front panel caps are pretty good too. I'm disappointed in teams like the Giants who didn't do anything different at all, and ones like the Rockies and Blue Jays are the worst by far.
