Sport
Last night was the first time I've seen the helmets move in action. The Jaguars' helmet looks like a direct idea from Shad Khan, who himself looks like a man with gaudy taste, and nobody in the organization had the balls to say that a half-black, half-gold, half-matte, half-gloss helmet would look terrible on an historical scale. Lights Out
Nothing will ever top the Bills last uniforms as the worst in league history. The Bills' previous set wasn't even the worst during the period of time it was in use. The Patriots', Bengals', and Cardinals' uniforms are complete disasters IMO, whereas that Bills set was at least redeemable with a few tweaks (no yokes or side panel, never wearing the monochrome combos). As for the Jags, they were so close to a top 10 set in the NFL, but the black jersey and those awful helmets ruin it. IceCap
No, because you'd still have to deal with the over-thought colour scheme and the mismatching home/road numbers. Almost every idea behind that Bills set was terrible. Maybe not the worst of its era, but still REALLY bad.And yes, the current Jags' helmet is the worst in the history of the league. It's so bad that it drags the "ok but not great" rest of the set down with it merely by existing. As long as the Jaguars wear that helmet they're wearing the worst uniform in the history of the NFL. And I'm counting all of those weird sets from the 1920s and 1930s, before people realized what a football uniform should look like. Lights Out
I don't think that Bills' set would be fantastic without the yokes and sidepanels, but they'd be just decent enough to not be a total eyesore - much like how I think their current uniforms are. IceCap
At the very least the current Bills set emphasizes the right shade of blue and dropped the use of nickle. The colour scheme is still over-thought though. They need to realize that they can still sell navy merchandise without having navy on the uniforms. The Giants and Rangers have been doing it for years. vmd9
The current Bills uniforms are just as bad, if not worse, than the previous ones. Bland, generic, and cheap.

This includes the "complete disasters" hyperbole that some people throw around to try to sound more important or more emphatic. Arizona, New England, and even Jacksonville could be fixed fairly easily.
Claystation360
Yeah I agree with that. I mean I like these Jags uniforms much better than our previous set. You see they were trying to incorporate all colors in a modern military flair just it probably could've been executed better. I personally am starting to like the uniforms. Then again I have little choice but the helmet I still wish they would've went with matte black. #DTWD #GoJaguars
TruColor
The gold helmet color matches the darker gold of the logo.(Have the helmet sitting right next to me as I type this) Nothing will ever top the Bills last uniforms as the worst in league history. Glad to hear it looks OK in person. However, it's not even intended to match...they substitute a Metallic Gold for the helmet decal, which is different than the Gold used in the shell:
TSHARE18
Do you have a color for the helmet? Is there a guide for how much black the helmet should have? On some of the players it seems inconsistent mostly due to the different styles.
jhans203
Any reason why many WR's are wearing single digit numbers? Is it just a preseason thing or a new rule change?
vicfurth
I'd expect it to be out of preseason necessity.

shaydre1019
Nothing will ever top the Bills last uniforms as the worst in league history.I wouldn't have thought it possible, but the Jags have made it look easy.I vote that bills set as the worst of all time. And that's because it had a fairly simple design. I used to hate to watch them play, it was so frustrating. Ive only seen pictures of the new jags uniforms but I really don't think they're that bad. A black helmet or even their previous set would make that set good. Like its been said I really think that helmet was all khans idea, just don't see Nike proposing anything that bad. Even their most gaudy out there pc helmets aren't close to that bad, it just does not look good.
FiddySicks
Yeah, as bad as this Jags set is, it's nowhere near as God awful as that previous Bills set. wonderbread
Any reason why many WR's are wearing single digit numbers? Is it just a preseason thing or a new rule change? Too many players to assign position specific numbers, once cuts are made they will reassign numbers according to position
