nuordr
I got an idea I haven't heard mentioned yetwhy doesn't Jacksonville just adapt 2 helmetsone gold one one black oneand interchange them, being the first ever NFL team to wear 2 helmets instead of only having one to choose fromI'd fix the problem and be SUPER COOLThe problem is that the NFL won't allow two helmets, which is a shame as I think some (Keyword: Some) cool things could be done like in College Football. However, this forum might very well explode if that were to happen, so...Two helmets would be fine with me as long as they both have the same logo and striping on them. But they cannot go the route of College Football!
guest23
Yeah, that's the only proper response.Besides, the Seahawks tried this a decade ago. It was against the files.Silver would have stuck out like a sore thumb with that redesign. I think there would have been major differences in the final product in terms of jersey and pants to incorporate silver.
TheOldRoman
Yeah, the plan was to pair the silver helmet with silver pants, bearing the same navy/green/navy stripes.
hbgoo1975
Nike spent the 2013 off-season fixing most teams' toilet seat collars. The 2014 off-season better be spent fixing those awful, wet, dark gut panels. For some teams in particular, they look terrible. They will only get worse as more of the nike mesh gets incorporated into these templates. Basically the back of the jersey is nearly all one giant mesh panel in the newest college version. This is all in the name of lighter and more moisture wicking but what you have are two completely different materials with one that changes color when wet while the other does not. Worse yet it doesn't even look as cool as hypercolor did back in the day.Its actually more one material gets wet, and the other doesnt, which explanes the color change, i dont know why they cant make the mesh parts out of the same material just in a mesh pattern rather than the solid materialThis uniform should be better off with a light blue helmet and white socks with light blue tops. beruud
The current Bills uniforms are just as bad, if not worse, than the previous ones. Bland, generic, and cheap.you might want to put these onthe uniforms, especially now that the collar is fixed, is top 10 in the leagueCould not agree more bills new unis top ten Please do not fool yourself, the Buccaneers jersey is conceptually and creatively an abomination. DPHF
Saw highlights of the Vikings game on ESPN News a few moments. The midfield Viking head logo looks pretty cool with purple accent marks instead of black. Wonder why they only chose to use that version of the logo on the playing field. IMO its looks better than the black accented primary logo. Can't find any clear photos, but here's a video link.http://espn.go.com/video/clip?id=espn:9555581They've always done that at midfield... less colors to paint, I guess. It looks like the Vikings have now added the black outlines to their midfield logo. It now matches the actual logo, so it makes sense.http://instagram.com/p/dmaHOnNjkT/

ZapRowsdower8
Giants will wear the white pants week 10 vs. the Raiders and week 12 against the CowboysSmart move to wear them against teams that use silver pants that look kind of similar to the Giants grey set. It will provide a better contrast.
FiddySicks
So from the looks of things, the NFL 59Fifty sideline caps are pretty much all the same as last year. I for one really like that. I understand why Reebok switched them up every year, but there's no need to go crazy and change elements of the 59Fifty every year. I want a Titans one, but I live in Denver so my only option is online. However, I'm not gonna try that because the sizing is horrendously inconsistent. I'm not getting one unless I can try it on myself. I've had a 7 3/8 that was noticably larger than a 7 5/8, and a 7 1/2 that was smaller than a 7 1/4. There's no consistency and it's maddening. I wear 7 1/2 but for the cap, I bought a 7 3/8.And if you do online purchasing, like from Lids, I recommend the Ship to Store option (it's free). And there, you order two caps, one of each size. When you get to the store, try them on and keep the one you want, return the other one on the spot for a full refund. Simple as that. Also, if you don't have that kind of time, just try on a different team cap and just go from there with that sizing. Go A's!
FiddySicks
Are you close to a Lids? If so, order from them and have it shipped to the store. It won't cost you anything for shipping, and they can exchange/return it if it doesn't fit.EDIT: what he said ^ On 11/19/2012 at 7:23 PM, oldschoolvikings said: She’s still half convinced “Chris Creamer” is a porn site.) ColeJ
say what you will about the titans uniform set, i stick by my belief that the road jersey is one of the top looks in the league, and the only real flaw is the helmet stripe, which should match the stripe on the white pants.the home jersey is admittedly a train wreck, and needs more than just white pants to fix... but the white over columbia? gorgeous.titans versus vikings is always one of my favorite matchups, too... who says easter colors can't look fantastic on a football field? I recently got a Brewers BP hat, and it fits perfect as of today, but the official game hat doesn't fit me as good as the previous hat despite being the same 7 1/8 size. I only bought the hats to own official on-field merchandise and not some half assed adjustable hat.I'm not saying Snapbacks are better but like...Snapbacks are better. There is NOTHING about a snapback that's better than a fitted. They're absolute garbage hats that are poorly constructed and cheaply made, yet their price point is still comparable to a fitted.
